Best food around. Have been ordering food from this restaurant since it was located on 1st Ave in Maywood. Although it's a longer distance, its the only place that I go to. The j*** Catfish is soooo delicious as well as the oxtails and chicken. Andrew(owner) is always pleasant and friendly. Front desk clerk has become my "best friend". Highly recommended!!
The food is great however the biggest downfall is you can't place orders over the phone anymore, and you can't dine in. Sometimes when it comes to places like this you want to enjoy the food and the environment. As far a flavor over eating is amazing in taste, the chicken is grilled perfectly and they have a one of a kind sauce. The macaroni is good and always tastes homemade. I've been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. Unfortunately, as I write this review they have been temporarily shut down and I'm hoping they return sooner than later. Food has always been consistent and good. First pick for Jamaican food around Chicagoland.
