I love going to Gibson's when I want a steak. Unfortunately I put my camera away and enjoyed my meal. I had a T Bone steak, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach plus my friend shared her carrot cake.

I’ve gone to this particular Gibson’s for 3 major events in the last two years: 2 weddings and 1 baby shower. Just attended a wedding this past weekend and it was lovely as can be.
They really do a nice job in terms of hosting a large event such as a wedding reception. Valet is quick and easy, the food is always consistent in terms of quality, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
When at Gibson’s, be it in Oak Brook or downtown Chicago, I pretty much always order the steak. Never had a bad steak here. They do a proper medium-rare. :)
Thanks for having a beautiful place for family and friends to create wonderful memories! I’m sure I’ll be back for another reception or two. :)

Parking: I always valet at the Oak Brook Gibson’s. It’s super fast and very convenient.

My experience with Gibson's was topnotch and our waitress Kathleen was phenomenal. The only thing I could complain about is being sat by the kitchen doors, which were a little distracting. Overall, Gibson‘s is a great restaurant!

Starting with our server, he was excellent. Was available when we needed him, served us quickly & efficiently. Food was excellent. The main course & dessert. Even though I was a little late they were very understanding & accommodating. .
They were great in accommodating my wife who was in a wheelchair and they helped us set the table so she could enjoy here meal. The service was great as usual and the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal

Celebrated our anniversary, and our server Diana congratulated us once we were seated. We both had the grass fed ribeye, and both were grilled to perfection to our preference. the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, and our asparagus grilled perfectly, not under or overcooked. our dinner was stellar, but the service we received from Diana really made our night.

Food was delicious. It was nice to see the waitress showing us a tray of actual meat options and how it's cooked/ingredients. The appetizer crab/avo was yummy, it reminded me of ceviche. I wish the tables were more separated for more space to move around and to feel more intimate. Everyone there was really kind.

Had dinner on 9/20/24 2 20 ounce prime rib dinners ordered medium. Prime rib was initially severed wrong size, and reserved the right size but served rare and parts of the prime rib uneatable. Prime rib served cold, backed potato served cold would no even melt soft butter. Asparagus burnt, bread served stail. The entire meal for 2 was a total disappointment and externally over priced. Had prime rib dinners at Texas Roadhouse 10 times as good as the garbage we were served at Gibson's Steak house. You should be embarrassed on the quality, service and price of your food my total bill was $226.00 with tip. I will never eat at this restaurant ever again
