The mint chip ice cream here is unbelievably good. Just be mindful they do half size scoops, so if you want a normal size double scoop, you will want 4 of the 1/2 scoops. Prices are very fair and reasonable for the quality and the volume.

The waffle cones are fresh and super tasty as well.

I liked this ice cream shop. It was our first time going and we went around 9:30pm so the mall stores were all closed. However if you park in the blue garage(right next to orange) and you take the elevator up to the District(food) court(top level) you will see the ice cream shop. It’s right next to the AMC IMAX theatre. I like their concept of half scoops so that you can have more flavors. They give you samples so when in doubt check it out first and then make your choices....

Checked out Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in Oakbrook and it totally lived up to the hype. They had a really nice selection and the staff was super friendly.. kept offering us samples until we finally made up our minds (which was hard because everything tasted so good). The place is nicely decorated with a fun vibe, though it can get a little crowded at times. The ice creams were delicious and surprisingly reasonable for the quality.
