My parents, brother, and I went out for dinner here for the first time even though we’ve lived in the area for 10+ years. We recently found out about the restaurant and it was simply WOW. We were so impressed with absolutely everything and can’t wait to go back! Amie was our server and she was so kind and answered any questions we had. Loved everything about this restaurant!!

We always love going to Gibbons. We've been coming here for years, and this place is a true, family owned gem. Classic steak house vibe and decor with fantastic steaks and chops. The service is always great as well. There aren't many places like it out here in the south suburbs, and it rivals some of Chicagos best. Keep up the great work.

Having traversed the globe and dined at some of the most acclaimed steak destinations, my palate has been privileged to taste the pinnacle of culinary excellence. Yet, amidst my gastronomic journey, I've discovered a gem that consistently outshines the rest—Jack Gibbons Gardens in Oak Forest, Illinois. It's a bold statement, but one I make with conviction: Jack Gibbons serves the best steak I have ever tasted. The secret to their unparalleled steaks lies in their meticulous preparation. Each steak is seasoned and aged to perfection, a testament to the culinary expertise behind the scenes. The flavors are robust, yet balanced; each bite is a harmonious symphony of taste, texture, and aroma. This steakhouse doesn't just serve food; it crafts an experience, elevating the simple act of dining to an art form.Jack Gibbons holds an unrivaled position in the steakhouse world, a sentiment echoed by many but truly appreciated by those who, like me, consider themselves connoisseurs of fine dining. It's a place where expectations are not just met but surpassed, setting a benchmark that few can aspire to reach. In jest, I often say that to dine at Jack Gibbons is to experience the 'best food chronic' in the world—a title I bestow not lightly, considering my extensive steakhouse resume. Yet, it's a title that Jack Gibbons earns time and again, with every visit solidifying its place not just in Oak Forest, Illinois, but in the pantheon of global steakhouse legends. In conclusion, whether you're a seasoned traveler with a penchant for steaks or a local in search of culinary excellence, Jack Gibbons Gardens

Gibbons not what it used to be! I was there 2 months ago and had bad experience with food and service. Well went back there and it was not a fluke. This time the same over booked . $2 for glass of water while we waited. I am a porterhouse steak lover and my wife filet mignon . Mine was over cooked and cool like it had been sitting. 38 oz was more like 20z steak . A lot of fat and tough membrane. My wife’s queen filet was more like wee filet . It was over cooked and cool as well. The waitress was not friendly about it and was very slow on helping us with problems . Premium steak house and felt like I was at Texas Roadhouse . Me on my family have been going there for over 30 years and time to find new premium steak house. Not handicapped friendly either.

T-bone steak was so tough they brought 3 different knives and still had to tear it apart with a fork. I assume we should not have gone One hour before closing, probably just got whatever was left over

It's my first time there. The service was excellent. The server was attentive to our needs and provided great conversation. The food was well prepared. The steaks were terrific. I Love going to different steak restaurants, and this one is at the top. It will be one that we will be coming back to.

I've never had lemon butter with a filet mignon so it was something different but kinda ehh. The outside of the filet mignon was chewy and burnt but the inside was cooked right and tasted good. I've had better filet mignon that cut better. The water they bring out is aweful and tastes like it was caught in rain barrel from the gutters on the building. Nothing was bad enough to where i would not eat it. Don't drink the water. It would be nice to turn up the lights so i can get a good look at my meal or see how its cooked. Its like a cave in there.
