Maiz & Barro surpasses all other Mexican restaurants in the area. Our family are weekly regulars for the outstanding cuisine, exceptional margaritas, fair prices, and friendly and attentive service. Elvia is a pastry chef with the BEST desserts, her husband Mario dominates the authentic dishes, and Marco is the best bartender (our favorite drink is the Mora y Zarzamora margarita). Come dine here, you will not be disappointed!!

Maiz and Barro is by FAR the best and most consistent restaurant my family and I have ever been to. We are here at minimum once a week and regularly refer to Maiz as our “second kitchen”. If you enjoy Mexican cuisine, come and give Maiz a try! The food is always top notch, the drinks are phenomenal, and the desserts are regularly the best I’ve ever had, no matter what I try! (If you don’t like Flan, TRY ELVIA’S! She knows what she’s doing!). I can’t say enough great...

Catering review***

We catered taco trays for our daughter’s birthday party. The food was absolutely AMAZING. It was so fresh, and we got compliments for all our guests, non-stop. We got chips, salsas, guac, with everything. We also ordered a sheet cake and a smash cake that was delicious. We cannot say enough good things about our favorite place… if you need food for a party, absolutely cater through Maiz Y Barro❤️ Thank you!!!!!
