This was the nearest location to Advocate Christ Hospital. The staff seemed very nervous and then I could tell why. After placing my order, the manager came out and yelled at the workers to quit it with the chit chatting and that there are orders waiting and she mumbled something else that there are 2 orders of and she wasn't about to do them. If it weren't for my daughter being in the hospital this was my first day to get some time to myself after 8 consecutive days sleeping in a chair next to her. Not the best feeling, however, I love JJ sandwiches so I zoned out and tried to enjoy my meal. I would have absolutely gone up to manager and shared the inappropriateness if her conduct to her staff in front of everyone, uncalled for. I would not come back to this location.

I ordered 2 sandwiches this evening from this store on 104th and Cicero that were made well but placed between burnt bread! Totally horrible! I don’t know how whoever made these sandwiches were not aware that this bread was inedible. They should not have used it. Thoroughly disappointed in JJ! Do better!

This place is always busy! Their workers are kind, nice, and their sandwiches are done correctly. My kids have always been picky eaters so we usually go in there for salami sandwiches, but their adult sandwiches are delicious as well. I love going to this location because they are so kind and it’s clean. I’m a fan of their turkey or roast beef!

I need to stop buying anything from the place because the sandwiches have hardly any meat in them. Is all bread, lettuce, tomatoes and onions, maybe a little slice of cheese, too much money for that.

The big curly haired white guy gave me the crustiest bread known to man. I called and complained the next day. And whoever I spoke with, a white lady, she tried to give me a suggestion on when I should have called. She must didn't know about me. I had to get her together. I called when I called. They shouldn't have sold that crap in the first place. And there would be no need to call and complain at all on any day. After I checked her, she ended up putting a credit on the account to replace the bread. The day I came to redeem it, the employee said he didn't see any credit. They didn't give me any static about it, I explained what happened and I received a fresh loaf of bread. That was the best scenario cause I didn't have to hunt that employee down for lying about giving me a credit. The sandwiches can be a hit or miss. It matters who makes your sandwich. I know exactly who I prefer to make my sandwiches. But I don't come as much. They're not as good as they used to be. I suggest make your own sandwich at home.
