Waited over 30 minutes for a nearly $10 mediocre egg sandwich that was missing at least one of the listed ingredients. This place seems really disorganized with a constant stream of complaints and apologies from the staff

Took absolutely waaayyy too long to get a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was fine- just some egg and cheese, but took nearly 30 minutes to get it. I could’ve made this at home in 5 minutes.

Great vibes definitely a place to come and hang out with friends. Not a huge fan of the chai but I liked my food :)

I had the opportunity of meeting the owner and she is so kind and welcoming. I love her energy and the business she has built. I highly recommend her cafe! The cold brew was amazing, bright and a hint of sweet. The pumpkin cream cheese waffles are perfect, I loved them and pumpkin is not my regular choice!

This was quite a terrible experience. I expect when I eat out to at least have the food be better than what I could make myself. I got the egg sandwich and it was made with a stale bread bun and the eggs were completely flavorless and tasteless. The berry smoothie is one of the worst smoothies I’ve ever had. It’s supposed to have honey but they must have forgot to put it and probably used unripe berries because it was sour.
The service was also very mediocre. It took them more than 15 minutes to get the order ready and the servers were so odd and cold in their interactions with me. As if they couldn’t wait for me to leave. They also served multiple who came after me their orders before me. I hate to pull the race card but I don’t know if it was because of my skin color. Anyway, if you’re dark skinned, probably best to avoid this place.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Chicago. I'm not a big coffee person so I love the non-espresso options. Oh, and the waffles are amazing.

WOW! I haven’t been here since they moved across the street and it’s been too long. The salted caramel latte & housemade chai were delish as well as the waffles & the fresh baked muffins (served warm) & scones! Everything here was perfection. Cozy place with a great ambiance & vibe, friendly service & quality food. Will definitely be returning more often to support this woman owned business.

The place is very cluttered and disorganized. They offer way too many options for what they can handle. The place is small and cluttered where you are unsure where the line is and where it starts. The customer service is not great but it’s not bad either. I think the wait time is long because of the way they process orders and having way too many chefs in the kitchen. I just ordered an iced latte and waited 15 minutes for it, it was mediocre.
Cortado was made extremely hot, lack of customer service. Wasn’t impressed but maybe it was too early in the morning for the ladies.

We got a banana muffin here that tasted awesome. They were so nice and accommodative.
I’d love to come back again.

I ordered the egg sandwich with jalapeños, the sandwich was good, even though they didn't add the jalapeños.
I ordered a Tumeric Latte, very disappointed. It taste like a flat coffee. I asked if I can change it for something else, the girl said Nope, I explained it doesn't taste like tumeric, she said because it has coffee. I told her, I wanted a tumeric latte, not coffee. Long story short, I ended up paying extra for a London Tea Latte, which was also very disappointing.
Walked out with 2 drinks that I threw away.
Might have to say, not my cup of tea. Very disappointed.

This gem of a coffee shop is truly a credit to our community. The owners warm greeting and brilliant smile are worth the trip. The food and coffee are the frosting on this cake.
