We had a large group and sat on the patio. Our server was wonderful and attentive. The food was tasty and came out hot and fresh. I liked the Monte Cristo but could have used some preserves. The server did give us powdered sugar and jelly for it so we had the perfect sweet and savory brunch. Our coffees stayed full and everything was wonderful. When we come back to Chicago sure we'll visit again!

Skirt steak was not cooked correctly , and it was spoiled. Items were missing. I felt like throwing up when from the taste of the steak ...and it didn't look nor taste like a skirt steak...I'll never buy anything steak related again.. extremely disappointed. Hope I don't get food poisoning . Please be careful ordering a steak from this place.

This is an old favorite diner around Oak Park and great for those American standards of a hearty breakfast, diner-style burger or sandwich, and comfort foods. I was there for breakfast and enjoyed a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns and pancakes. A good value of portion size and satisfying cop of coffee. Friendly and helpful (and workin' hard for the money) waitresses.
