Cookie of the month subscription: Small snafu with timing over the holidays due to when I ordered, but they remedied it immediately when I emailed, and my cookie-loving dad loved his first box. I can't wait to hear him rave over his boxes this year, as this first one has assured me of the excellent quality. Would absolutely recommend. 10/10 for customer service. 10/10 for tasty cookies.

Best coffee in Oak Park. Great atmosphere and everyone there is so nice. Cookies are the perfect size for a little taste and their cinnamon rolls are perfection.

I found this spot online randomly one day and was intrigued to try the Italian beef bun which comes paired with juice and uses Johnnie's Italian beef meat. (Big fan of Johnnie's beef)
I also ordered the truffle cheese bun and ice coffee. Needless to say everything was 🔥, the coffee was strong and not bitter , the Italian beef bun tasted like Johnnie's beef in Cinnabon form and the truffle cheese had a hint of sweetness with a nice kick of truffle flavor.
I will definitely be back because I loved the variety of flavors and options at this location a solid 10/10, the customer service was on point too which is a rarity nowadays.

Love the assortment of bite size cookies and baked goods available. The coffee is also delicious and has me completely spoiled. Cookie boxes are a great gifting option for teachers, friends and family, staff meetings, etc - trust me, people always rave about them. They ship too, so even if someone doesn't live nearby they can try the cookie of the month!

THE perfect place to walk to on a weekend morning to grab coffee and a yummy baked good! My husband and I love walking just a couple blocks away from our apartment and checking out what new creation Blackout has to offer! If you ever see the Johnny's Beef roll w/ a side of au jus, GET IT! Eat it right away while it's hot! We've ordered a box of cookies a couple times for family parties and they are always gone in a flash! The shop is very aesthetically pleasing and the staff are always welcoming and friendly! Can't wait to blackout again!

I love the variety of drinks and baked goods there is to offer! There’s always something new and unique to try, and the quality is very prevalent.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, especially for breakfast! There’s scones, muffins, bread pudding, cinnamon rolls, Strata and so much more.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for kids, including kids sizes for hot cocoa and other drinks
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and everything is on the same level! Would be fairly easy for someone in a wheelchair to access

The service here was unacceptable I am a black young lady who is a Uber driver picking a Uber eats order for someone & the young white girl w curly blonde hair asked may I help u & I told her pick up for a customer she proceeded to go get the order ready I’m waiting for 5 mins then the kind white man asks me may I help u & I said pick up order for once again the customers name & the order was sitting on the table & he gave it to me & the older white lady & young white lady was just sitting there looking dumb talking to each other I was discrimination because I was black I believe neither the young white girl & older white lady w blonde hair wanted to give me the bag or let alone let me know that’s it’s ready so I can just grab it
