“Sinha is a traditional Brazilian, home-style restaurant located inside a family home. The woman who prepares and serves the food is an older, incredibly kind and welcoming host, which makes the experience feel very personal and authentic. Entry requires buzzing in or calling for access, which was fine.
Upstairs offers appetizers, while the buffet-style meal is served downstairs. I brought my friend here for his birthday since he loves Brazilian culture and cuisine, and the food, atmosphere, and birthday celebration at the end were all lovely and thoughtfully done.
The main downside is the lack of price transparency. There is no clear cost listed on the website or explained in person, which can lead to unexpected charges. Our total ended up being higher than anticipated, with a service charge added and an additional request for tip on top of that, which was unfortunate.
Overall, the food, cultural experience, and intimate home-style setting were beautiful and memorable, but the pricing structure is something that should be clarified and addressed.“

“I am not vegetarian but I ALWAYS get the portobello sandwich (MulataBella) and lentil soup. My kids and I love the spinach empanada. Owner is a woman of color and an immigrant bringing her family’s Brazilian dishes to OP!“
