I don't understand this place, we were in there with only two other tables inside, every single time we needed something we had to actively flag someone down. I know there were tables outside too but three tables inside and you can't even check in every once in a while. We had to ask for water which comes in a plastic to go cup, ask for silverware which is also plastic and to go. I feel like this place needs to transition to order at the counter and then seat yourself because that's essentially how its operating already but with terrible service. Food is mediocre. It's upsetting cause it's one of the only places in Oak Park with vegan breakfast options but I don't think I will be back anytime soon.

This isn't about the coffee - that is a huge improvement on the coffee Buzz used to serve.But the service was just abysmal - server put in our order late and came out one by one. Initially it was blamed on the kitchen being backed up but then someone else came and apologized for the server not putting our food in.When eating with kids, it really wasn't ideal.The food was OK - the panini's were burned on the base, but it took so long to come anyway, it's not like we were going to send them backIt's a shame because I really want to like the place, and enjoy the other Kribi locations, this just feel like it's missing

We stopped in on a Saturday morning to grab coffee to go. We were asked three times, “Are you dining in or taking out?” The pace was urgent and staff was quite short with us. My friend wasn’t sure what flavors of muffins they had but panicked because the barista seemed exasperated and ended up not getting what he wanted. We were polite and grateful because we knew they were busy, but would have loved a bit more kindness. It’s a great location, had fun live music for a Saturday morning, and the drink hit the spot at a decent price. For take-out, was a slightly anxiety-inducing experience. I’d like to go back for dine-in to maybe be able to enjoy the experience more.

Buzz (by Kribi) has the same gritty charm but with a somewhat enhanced menu. Items are fine. Service is acceptable. I look forward to more improvements.
