The menu lacks. The service very slow. Best part of the meal was the limoncello.

Nice place, spacious, great windows, warm old brick walls, great space between tables, first class service (ask for Simon). The food is excellent, well presented, elegantly arranged on the plate, wonderful taste combined with wonderful smell. I will come more often, this is a gem of a place to eat and share with friends Lower volume in the music will help a lot

Citrine never disappoints. The gnocchi and beet salad with grapefruit was delicious. The GTO is always a favorite cocktail and a classic at Citrine. The carrot cake is the best cake ever. Our server and bartender, Matt, is fabulous, friendly and helpful.

Food & service were excellent as always. I've dined at Citrine several times & have never been disappointed. Experience the other night was terrific except for one thing. The portion sizes were noticeably smaller than in the past. This was particularly true with our appetizer selections. Again, food quality & service were top notch. Just slightly disappointed with portions. Love your establishment. Will return!

Octopus app was as good as advertised. Food overall was delicious and well made. The gnocchi was pillowy and flavorful. Also had the risotto special which had short rib and rock shrimp. Delightful. Loved the cocktails and wine selection also. Service was prompt and attentive. Vibe was lively but not loud. Had a great time!

Citrine is an exquisite cuisine. Stooped in for dinner with family last night and had the best Manhattan a guy could ever hope for. I had the salmon with baklava for dessert. The salmon was a hit with our group. I wish we had taken more photos to share. This one is a must!

Wonderful food, lovely service though quite slow. Rather noisy but it was a Saturday night. Ravioli outstanding. Branzino excellent. Beet salad small but excellent. Lapinja bread -- DO NOT miss this, really great. Sorbets perfect for a refreshing dessert. Quite surprised that the special (branzino) was DOUBLE the cost of the whitefish and this was not disclosed. To be fair, I did not ask, but the server said they were similar. $54 for dinner in Oak Park is not really reasonable. ($28 for whitefish.) We will go back. But ask about the price of specials.

Excellent cocktails, with great assistance from staff on explaining some unfamiliar drink ingredients. Two appetizers: lamb sausage with accoutrements, and grilled octopus. Most tender octopus I've ever had! Both great app choices. 4 entrees in our group: salmon; gnocchi; pork shank; cheeseburger. All expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. Shared tastes around our table, and all 4 were great. Love that they have daily specials in addition to the regular menu. The service was A+++. You can't go wrong here!

I’ve eaten here many times before and not sure if they were having an off day but the food was sub par. The calamari was chewy and my chicken was dry and very salty. However The hummus was pretty good.

We decided to check out the Serbian Pop-Up for brunch one Saturday, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. Our server, Sinisa, was outstanding, adding to the enjoyment of our time there. The extensive selection of Balkan wines impressed me; they were the perfect accompaniment to our meal. To start, we indulged in several appetizers, among which my personal favorite was the flavorful homemade Teleca Corba (soup). The Gibanica boasted a wonderfully fluffy texture and an exceptional savory taste, making it a tempting choice to take home for later. The Cevaps were prepared authentically, staying true to their origins. Every bite was packed with robust flavor, capturing the essence of traditional cuisine Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying dining experience.

We went back to Citrine for pre-concert eats on our way to Chicago. This is a Mediterranean-type restaurant. Cocktails are good, food is good. Service is impeccable. Our server this visit was Theo, and he was attentive and friendly. The other staff from the young woman who sat us to the guys who delivered food and cleared the table were attentive and always gave us a smile. My husband and I started out with a glass of wine and a cocktail. We decided once again to share small plates together. We had the New York strip steak tartare. It's absolutely fabulous so we had to have it again. Fresh steak with a raw egg on top that oozes into the steak as you break it, it's perfection. We also got the homemade lepinja bread served warm with a couple spreads. I can't eat nuts or seeds and it came out covered with sesame seeds. No problem, Theo was more than happy to take it back and have bread made just for me without seeds. That's great service. We then shared the roasted beet salad which had arugula, goat cheese, avocado, and orange. It was a very small salad for the price of $14. Having said that, the salad was fresh and I liked the different textures, but it was the size of a small side salad and not worth the price. I would pass on this my next visit. The final dish we shared was the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were large and grilled perfectly, the grits were creamy. This dish was packed with flavor and some heat. Delicious. Citrine accepts reservations and parking is paid street parking. I definitely recommend this restaurant and you must try the steak tartare. So damn delicious!
