Love love love the wood fire pizzas. Perfect sauce and a variety of toppings to choose from. The chicken drumsticks are a bit bland and the bbq sauce that's offered taste like store bought Heinz. PIZZA Is the best though

I frequent Oak Park and have passed this gem so many times but had never gone in. My friend had a discount coupon so we went. I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was quiet and clean. I forgot the hosts name but he was very attentive and awesome! Very down to earth and friendly. We ordered chicken legs, pizza, onion rings and a burger. EVERY SINGLE THING WAS ?! All of the food was fresh and cooked to order. The wings and burger were seasoned to perfection. I jokingly told the host that someone's soulful grandma had to be in the kitchen. It was THAT good! He told us that he was the cook too! Even with him preparing the food and serving it, the service was great. I will say that it was a slow night. There were people coming in to pick up but not too many sitting in. The drinks were lacking the kick that I like.. A bit too sweet for me, not enough alcohol. The prices were not bad though. I'll most certainly be back.

Well Since the owner decided to "frowny" face me I guess I'll take a few more seconds and share my experience.I was treated on a work lunch, I would never return even for a free meal. The portions were nice however the food tasted burnt. We were just small group but experienced really dismissive and poor treatment. We the server finally came back, I show them where the meat on the sandwich was burnt. She laughed and said thats how it was supposed to look.I asked for a remake or refund to which I was met with a hard time. I left out of frustration never to return!DKT - THIS IS WHY I RATED TWO STAR WITHOUT COMMENTS. BUT YOUR COMMENTS IS WHY YOUR STAFF ACTS THE WAY THEU DO!If you're into being treated poorly with no so good food try this place.

Nice place for a Sunday dinner. The workers used mask and the table are separate from the others. The food was really good and the service was great.

We placed an order for a custom pizza, fried chicken legs, and strips. The chicken strips that were supposed to be grilled with fries were actually fried pieces of chicken that smelled and tasted like the were fried in fish coating and grease. Noone will touch them, not even my dog. I contacted the restaurant to let them know about the order and the caller became confrontational and told me I was supposed to choose fries or tots. I explained that option wasn't there. She insisted it was. After going back and forth they offered to refund for the fish chicken. I was not trying to get ANYTHING for free, but I did NOT order FISH CHICKEN!! I will NOT order from them again!UPDATE - STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was my first time ordering from this place. I chose them because their pizza was made over firewood. I had their white pizza. There was barely any ham on the pizza itself, the mozzarella in the middle was super chewy, the dough was barely cooked and it was cold when it got to my place. Needless to say I'm pretty disappointed.

Nice neighborhood bar and restaurant. The wood fire oven pizzas are great as is the beer selection. Nice play area for kids and nice children's menu. Would love to see more cider offerings.
