Everyone here is very nice and helpful. The place is usually full with people working with their laptops but there’s always a spot to sit. It’s right by all the shops in Oak Park and there’s usually paid parking or side street parking a block or so away. I recommend their matcha latte or a dark coffee. This is a good spot to work from.

This used to be our go-to spot, the coffee was always delicious. However, some of the staff are bad at their jobs, especially the barista who repeatedly makes our lattes with Oat milk when we ask for Whole milk, even when we clearly state “with a W.” He seems to be doing this on purpose now; when I thanked him today, he did not look my way or respond. Julian provided a refund but this is our last time here. See you at Kribi— much better service.

I really enjoy my visits to Fairgrounds. The staff is always friendly and the cafe is clean and they have great music IMO. I think the breakfast sandwiches are delicious although **they skimp on the bacon** lol
I’ve come here to study, work, take tests and it’s been a great experience every time.
PS. Try the cold brew they have on tap and the blended coffee. ???

Edit: I love this place, but prices have gotten ridiculous. I paid 7 dollars for a SMALL cold brew the other day. I've been to about 50 coffeeshops in the chicago area and the average is usually $5 to 5.50. I am likely going to switch to a new regular spot in Oak Park. A guy came out of the shop yelling about the prices today as well.
Before edit: The largest selection of coffee beans for pourovers I've ever seen. Several options for cold brew as well. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors, excellent for meet ups or getting work done. Easily became my go-to coffee shop when working in Oak Park.
It frustrates me that when I order in and order multiple items I’m asked to stand at the counter and wait. Its especially frustrating when they are not busy and you see the staff chatting away to themselves not a clue that I’m standing there
