Placed online order for 5:30 pickup. Arrived at the restaurant just after 5:30; paid for the pizza. Only to be told we haven’t made it yet, it’ll be 40 minutes. I placed this order at 1:00 for a 5:30 pickup!?!?! No apology no nothing just too bad we’ve been busy and didn’t feel the need to let the customer know we need an additional hour due to miss management. Spoke with manger “Will” offered nothing but we can’t do anything for you but issue you a refund and you don’t have a pizza. The worse customer service ever!!!!!

I was sooooo disappointed. I ordered a personal deep dish pizza for $12.99 since it just me along with an apetizer. It arrived as a small, which was surprisingly $29.99. The ingredients were sausage, peppers, onion, and mushrooms. I think i had 1 sausage per pizza slice. The crust was tough and the pizza was lukewarm. It was a majorly overprice cheese pizza. I liked the bruschetta on the apetizer platter but not worth a special trip. The customer service was non-existent. The busboy was the friendliest person in the whole establishment, despite our language barrier. I won't give it a 2nd chance.

Food was ice cold. Got the text saying it left the store and it took 40 minutes to get it. And I live about 10 blocks away. Tried calling multiple times and no one picked up.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to follow up. I truly appreciate the outreach and the care shown in addressing my concerns.
While my experience on New Year’s Eve was disappointing, I do value Giordano’s of Oak Park and the consistency I’ve experienced in the past, which is why I felt it was important to share my feedback. Your response and willingness to engage does help restore confidence that guest experiences matter.
I appreciate the opportunity to be heard. Thank you again for your professionalism and for taking my concerns seriously.
Warm regards,
Martha R. Rice

ordered new tavern style but received a bad thin crust. When tried to call left on hold and finally disconnected. This location does not appreciate loyal customers. Message received.

So we landed early from O’Hare on Saturday and we were on the way to visit someone, but had left home early so we were starving. Every time we come into the city, we stop at Giordano’s. This location ruined our pizza experience- we ordered tavern style pizza and got brought thin crust, which does not taste good at all. They forgot to make one of our deep dishes, and suddenly we were running late for our visit. Do not recommend this location at all.

I ordered the new Tavern Style Pizza from this location, and it was completely inedible. Parts of the pizza were so hard and dry they couldn’t be chewed, the cheese was burnt and stuck to the box, and there was no pizza sauce at all.
When I called to report it, the manager told me, “That’s how we sell it — it’s supposed to be very crispy,” and said I’d have to bring it back for a refund even though it was already late at night. I found that response unhelpful and dismissive.
I’ve enjoyed Giordano’s for years, but this was an awful experience — poor quality and poor customer service. A pizza should be crispy, not burned and moistureless. I expected much better from Giordano’s.

I love giordano's. I have been on many locations, even on Florida. The one in Oak Park is okay.

Travelled from Virginia and wanted to try “classic Chicago pie”. Wasn’t disappointed. Learned that the pie took 40 min+ to cook, so we had a quick chicken parmigiana sandwich (perfect). Decided to order the pie anyways, toured the Frank Lloyd studio nearby, then came back to get our food. We’ve had it for two meals, and super delicious! Even cold the crust was amazing. Folks need to stop complaining and just embrace this wonderful regional masterpiece.
