Wonderful brunch! The cold buffet spread was amazing and the hot ordered option(s) were all so good! Especially enjoyed the crabcake! Will definitely be back!

Great restaurant! Beef wellington was devine and perfectly cooked! Butternut squash was light and very rich love the hazel nuts over the top. Jumbo shrimp was amazing with rice and reed peppers sauce! You need to order the souffle of the day. It was a raspberry, I was hoping for chocolate but the raspberry was so good. Crispy edges and light and fluffy in the middle. The fabulous waiter Kate added cream and a raspberry coulis in the center of the souffle! The drinks and Champagne was so yummy! Really enjoyed our night!

This a fantastic meal. Starter of Pate delicate and savory. Followed by a perfectly done walleye while I had the Special - Beef Wellington. Perfectly roasted to a medium rare tender beef surround with a flaky tender pastry crust. To top the night a fluffy raspberry souffle. With outstanding service you must visit this hidden gem.

The chef did an Amazing job with the menu and the bartender was excellent with the craft cocktails. A couple of hic-ups with service (wrong menu's, had to ask 3 times for water — first water had a fly in it) but server did their best to recover.

This is one of our favorite places for dinner, but this was our first time at brunch. It was great! The small buffet is perfect to get you started, and also pick up a sweet treat for after the meal. It is loaded with meat and cheese choices, pastries, and fresh seafood. The smoked salmon was especially delicious. The entrees we had were all delicious: eggs benedict, white fish, croque madame, the roast du jour (pork loin for us) and crepes. And the brunch price includes a glass of champagne!

I took my friend from Oak Park to Hemmingway's for her birthday. We had lunch. The restaurant was not too busy and we had a corner table. The neatest patrons were at least 3 tables away. Both of our entrees were excellent, and the service was very good. My guest's birthday was being celebrated and they provided dessert with a lit candle.

It's been our go-to restaurant for many years. The food is always delicious-haven't had any misses. We enjoy everything, and consistently order the escargot, the soup special or the French Onion, the rabbit ragout (great in the fall and winter), salmon, duck breast and the whitefish. I had the pot pie last week, too, and it was delicious. Soufflés are fantastic, too, as is the warm apple tart. Highly recommend Hemingway's to anyone looking for a great meal with wonderful ambience! Great for just a weeknight upscale meal or a special occasion.
