Stop in, you'll likely meet Paul or Keith behind the bar. Both serve and brew the beer you'll be drinking.Kinslager is a great room to stop in and have a beer or two. I usually bring some home, and growlers are a sealed 24? ounce sealed can!Kinslager consistently cares about the community that they curate in their little piece of the world. This makes for an amazing eclectic crowd - it's likely that more archaic knowledge passes through that tap room than the British Royal Society annual meetings in the 17th century.

This is a cool spot with a very elegant and tasteful design. The beers were great. Each style that we tried was represented well. The guy working behind the bar was a super professional. Hats off to him. Really enjoyed our short visit.

Delicious artsy creations cold-brewed beverages made with a dedication to the craft. Old world atmosphere and local snacks are present in the neighborhood bar. extremely focused on the community. beer that is inventive and distinctive. amiable customer service. It is absolutely worthwhile to travel south of the motorway to experience this laid-back neighborhood atmosphere and savor the great beers prepared with care.

The primary focus of Kinslahger is on producing excellent beer. They make fantastic lagers! There is always a seasonal beer on tap, and my personal favorite is the Prohibition Pils. In addition to making great beer, they have also built a welcoming and comfortable space for locals to socialize. I like how dedicated they are to their local communities as well as the brewing community. In a fantastic setting, excellent people are brewing great beer.

Neal the bartender was awesome. Solid beer, good pretzel, and very reasonably priced.

Delicious beer HOWEVER staff was really rude. Didn’t get greeted, the menus were thrown at us and we felt like they didn’t want us there. Vibe was off.

Good hard to find small brewery. It's located a bit away from the main parts of Oak Park. Kinslahger is located on the south side of town on Roosevelt. A quiet atmosphere. There's no noisy music or TVs, making you pay more attention to the beers and other drink options. A small place but it still has lots of beers to choose from. It's a pretty nice looking place and there's not a whole lot of room. This place usually isn't that busy though. Mostly because it's not as well known. We came in and tried some beers and snacks. It's about $7 for a pint. That's not bad for a small craft brewery like this. Best one was the Baltic Porter. This had coffee and dark chocolate aromas, with fig and raisin notes, and it was quite strong. A heavy beer at 9.8% ABV. There's bar snacks like cashews at $4 a bag or like that. Come here if looking for a brewery that puts focus on beers and not games. If looking for a brewery where the main thing is beers, this is it. There's only a few snacks but you can bring food in or get it delivered or whatever.

Delicious czech and german style craft beers in a 100 year old building that's been renovated in a way that maintains the classic ambience. Classy joint for a brewery taproom. Highly recommend checking this place out.

My husband and I both love this place with our whole hearts. Excellent beers, especially the Baltic Porter, and they also occasionally offer special brews (called the Weekly Kinsman) that are unusual and delicious. The owners, bartenders, and patrons are all consistently warm, interesting people—if you want to, you WILL make friends at this taproom! We’ve visited a couple times since the taproom reopened after its pandemic-related closure—they take COVID safety seriously, if that matters to you—and the vibe continues to be wonderful.
