I’ve eaten here several dozen times and have tried pretty much every ramen bowl on the menu. I haven’t had a bad one yet. Service is always top tier.

For an appetizer, I got the chopped chashu (I don’t have a picture of it)
I was not expecting it to be cold. It came tossed in a pretty tasty chili oil, however I didn’t take into consideration how fatty it would be. Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it.
Also ordered the #1. Tbh it was okay BUT I just don’t think this place is for me. I’ve given them a few chances and left a little disappointed each time.

Popcorn chicken, fire. Sakura jelly, fire. Thai tea? Fire. Seaweed salad? Also fire. Chashu pork? So good. Tonkotsu Ramen? Less than mid. It's ironically called Kyu-ramen, probably off of Kyushu, where tonkotsu ramen originated. It's ironic because it tasted nothing like Tonkotsu from Kyushu or any tonkotsu I've ever had. The broth tasted like water and a bit of cumin and spice. Not pork bone brothy taste. Very lacking in brothy-vegetably-meaty flavor. Tasted more like a soupy curry. I love the other food, but seeing as ramen is in their name and exactly what I came for, I expected them to do it right. The noodles were nice and springy, which was good, just the broth was flavorless, really; kinda ruined my meal. I can't give it the fourth star based on how poorly the broth was made.

Service was prompt and polite, and I recommend the restaurant for everything but the ramen; maybe they were having an off day.

While the food was somewhat pricey, the ambiance was excellent, and the service was impressive. The staff demonstrated extensive knowledge of the menu and made great recommendations for appetizers, drinks, and ramen. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with family and friends.

I used to live in NYC and me and the misses been to most the kyuramen over there in Flushing queens and the one in Long Island City, after visiting those places over there we determined to try this one hoping itll be just as good and boy did they deliver. The tonkotsu ramen with black garlic and the Amazon lemonade was just as good , especially the bao bao bun

I’ve been here about 30+ times now since they’ve opened. The last few weeks I’ve noticed the pork belly is not as tender as it used to be. Matter of a fact it’s borderline inedible. Idk if they are not paying the cooks enough or they hired new ppl but this is not trending in the right direction. I love the #6 ramen on the menu and I hope they fix this issue.

This was a wonderful place to experience thanks to the service staff. I loved the experience of being in the booth, there was a button by the table which was able to let the servers know when we were ready to order. The food was delicious and wonderfully presented by the server. I hope these pictures and specials show what a great mid day lunch this restaurant is!!

The food was overpriced for what you get in my opinion. It did not meet the hype! Tell me why I ordered a bowl of ramen for $16.99 plus tax/tip and it had HALF of an egg… the portion size was okay. The base was literally miso, not even a meat base… and it was almost $20.

I know these traditional cone shaped bowls are normal, but the ratio of broth to noodles was not good. I’m also someone who loves broth, and there wasn’t any to have with each spoonful. At least Kaijiken has rounded bowls so you’re getting more for your buck. The noodles tasted fine, but not for the price. It didn’t make me want seconds… We also got popcorn chicken and it was standard.

It was pretty on the inside though, so if that’s what you want to pay for…
