Love La Notte. There are not too many places around that have homemade pasta and they have a few different homemade options here! I went with Pappardelle and it was so good! My husband had the chicken Parm, my son a filet and my dad had the baked pasta dish. It was all excellent! Also, the service was perfect!

Food was great but we were sat in what looks and felt like a hallway. We asked for a different table (we had reservations) and the hostess told us nothing else was available and they were not seating anyone at the section with open tables. I honestly don't think tables should even be in the 'hallway' section. Ruined the ambiance for us.

The food was DELICIOUS! I have already recommended this place to a few friends and family. I am definitely going back to try some of the other menu offerings. For dessert, you must try Nonna's Ricotta Cheesecake. Still thinking about it today, thats how good it was. Highly recommend

The fried calamari was good...especially the marinara sauce. My Italian sausage pasta dish...the sausage was reheated on the flat top grill presenting more of a dry entree. The other pasta entrees ordered for our table of 4 were tasty. The service was impeccable. While we did not go to the bar, it looked very cozy.

The food is always delicious with the Pollo à la Florentina, being my favorite entrée and the baked cavatelli being my favorite pasta. Charmingly, the Chef-owner runs the show and is always happy to make a recommendation. I've been here at least a dozen times and each time has been great.

One of our favorite restaurants. The wait staff is consistently welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. The food is top quality and the kitchen is very accommodating to individual needs and tastes. The restaurant is a gem and centrally located for our group. The weather was bitter but the group braved it to celebrate a birthday and enjoy a delicious dinner together in a welcoming atmosphere.

Food just was ok and expensive for what it was. Music they were playing was bizarre and not appealing (felt like bad club music). Service was attentive and friendly. We would probably not go back unless we were in a pinch and could not get a reservation anywhere else. I do love the look the main room.

Feast of the Seven Fishes is turning into a wonderful family tradition. The menu is paired down to special's but oh so delicious. We started with grilled calamari which was done perfectly, dressed over a bed of salad. Zupe was also excellent. 2 were with red sauce, 1 with white sauce. Plenty of shellfish in all the dishes and fhe taste was amazing. The encrusted salmon was exquisite but the main dish highlight was the chilean sea bass, perfection on a plate! Dessert was tiramisu of course. Service was excellent. Efficient and unobtrusive. Only criticism was the kitchen was a tad slow.

We walk by this place all the time but have never stopped in. I’ve always been skeptical because it’s in a hotel and it never seemed very busy. What I’ve come to realize is that it gets busy late and we are early eaters. The atmosphere was lovely. Everything was nicely decorated for Christmas. The fire was going and the lights were soft. It really was perfect.Because they make everything from scratch, there was a lot of versatility which I really appreciated. Believe it or not, it’s hard to find vegetarian Italian in Oak Park that isn’t drenched in thick oozing cheese. Everything could be customized. This was one of the nicest dining experiences I’ve had in while. We’ll definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Talk to your server and the chef will happily work with you to create a vegetarian meal you will adore.

Gorgeous, gorgeous restaurant. Giovanni is sweet, kind, caring and treats all of his customers as family. This was the best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. Even better than anything I’ve had back home. (NJ ?) It’s legitimate, and everything was perfect- even the salad. The bolognese was to die for, I’ll never forget it! Make sure you order the special tulip dessert, as well. It’s a lovely little chocolate tulip with tiramisu inside. You will not be disappointed! I sincerely hope I can come back one day. -Angela

I will try again because overall it was a good experience. My initial disappointment was the fact I had noted in my reservation I wanted a quiet table in the back. I arrived to find the couple we were meeting in front by the bar. Asked for a different table and they did move us but it seemed to be a big deal. Pasta was good. Pork Chop was tough. I remember when it was Philanderers. They have basically kept the same ambience.

This is a hidden gem! It doesn't look like much, but just trust all the reviews and give it a try. The freshest, most delicious Italian meal!! Everything was excellent, including our server, Melana and meeting the chef at the end of the night!! We will be back and have already told all our Oak Park friends about it.

Loved La Notte! Food/service were wonderful. It was a little loud for our liking. To be fair it was a Saturday night. Perhaps we will try another day, as I really want to go back again.

Came to celebrate our 20th anniversary, included it on our reservation, but it was not acknowledged. The food was mediocre at best, then after paying and leaving we got a phone call that they screwed up our bill because the waitress was one of those cool waitresses who doesn't write things down, and items had been left off so I had to call them and make an extra payment to fix their mistake. Also the place was 3 quarters empty, so it's not like they had an excuse for such a dumb mistake. Finally the floor was filthy under our table
