Super empty on a Sunday for brunch. Even so, service was still slow. We got the guacamole, tamales, chilaquiles w/chicken, and steak skillet. Every dish was blah. The chicken was very dry and overcooked. Steak was overcooked and tough. The cocktails were only okay. Overly sweet, not well balanced or high quality.

After coming here multiple times and having great experiences. We were turned away twice now. Asked to wait over two hours for a table when there were clearly tables available. Private event both times??? Not even peak hours. We’re talking 5:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe it’s because we have our two children or maybe we’re the wrong color??? After attending the Candlelight Concert of the Beatles in Oak Park,we made reservations for this Latin American gem .
On a Friday night it was busy! Thank goodness we had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server Meyah was super friendly. We started with a few cocktails ..one being the Oaxacan Old Fashion..smokey and delicious.
We tried their Market Ceviche which was on their Weekly Specials menu..Cured Mahi Mahi Brazilian Papaya,Tangerine Habanero sauce served with Sweet Potato chips.fresh and delicious.
For our entrees we tried the Barbacoa Tacos and Blackened Fish(Tilapia) tacos. Both entrees were 21.00 for 3 tacos but no rice or beans on the side so a little pricey in my opinion.
Street parking is a challenge but they do offer valet for 5.00.
They have a fantastic patio that is open in the summer so we will definitely be back to enjoy a few cocktails and Latin American eats.

My partner and I recently dined here and overall had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, everything we ordered was flavorful and well prepared. Our server was also wonderful: attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
The only downside was when we first arrived. There were several open tables available, but we were seated in the very back right outside the kitchen. It wasn’t the most comfortable spot, especially with so many other options open. I did ask if we could be moved, and thankfully they accommodated us without issue.
Once we were relocated, everything flowed smoothly and the experience truly redeemed itself. Great food and great service overall.

Stumbled upon his place by accident will definitely return. They have a live music, amazing food ,amazing margaritas. The space was very clean and spacious plenty of seats. Bartenders were friendly will definitely return.

Vibrant, flavorful, delicious food! My dad who is a 50 year chef & Restauranteur absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, impressive bartender, and an excellent server. Our server made excellent recommendations and constantly watched over us. We never wanted for anything. He was there. It's very hard to criticize anything but if you made me, I would say the bus boy was a little too enthusiastic to clear our plates. Again, since service around the city is spotty, a very minor complaint. Overall, an excellent house! Well done! Can't wait to come back!
The waiter was very helpful and even provided a taste of the clam chowder which was delicious. I really enjoyed the Brazilian seafood stew special (he helped steer me in the right direction with that one). Looking forward to come back to try out more of the menu. It's casual enough (people were watching the Bears game on the bar side) but good dining option for a celebration or date.

Excellent fresh quality food, outstanding friendly service (server was very intentional about my peanut allergy and reassured me it was safe to dine there with peanuts on the menu). Great ambiance and made for a fun date night. Would definitely come again!

We visited Maya del Sol as a group of 10 and arrived around 4:30 PM, just in time to enjoy happy hour drink specials until 5:30 PM, which was a great bonus. Our waiter was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, especially considering the size of our group. The restaurant was well staffed, which made service smooth and efficient. Overall, the food was good and everyone else really enjoyed their meals. One person in our group did receive chicken that was pink in the middle, and we informed our waiter right away. Aside from that one issue, the rest of the table finished and enjoyed their food. The ambience was very nice—dim lighting, warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. Despite being busy, the restaurant felt well organized and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. Aside from the one food issue, everything else was positive, and I would go again.
