Went to Michaelâs beef cause I heard someone say it was better than Johnnieâs, not even close in my opinion. The fries were top notch but I was disappointed in the beef, average at best, just lacked flavor.
Three stars is the best I can give them, might have been 2 stars but the fries saved the day.

Customer service sucks. The cashier (maybe owner) was uninvited, and there was no smile, rude, pointing at signs when ask a question. I wanted to sit down and eat, but the environment was cold and dry. First and last time no matter how the food tastes.

The italian beef has good portion sizes, fries are okay but there is no flavor in that meat. I had it extra juicy but there was zero flavor. Too much pepper and too much salt. The cashier dude is very friendly but some of the cooks are not very passionate about their jobs, and sometimes they have attitude. This used to be a good joint, but it's no longer the same.

This is my third time coming to Michaelâs and trying a different food option to see if maybe i like something unfortunately everything I order just have no taste/no seasoning not even salt or pepper it just blend food. I really was hoping I will find a food option I like from this restaurant unfortunately the food is not my cup of teaâŠ
I will recommend trying their food first to see if you like it but it a miss for me hope it get better

Over priced fast food...Italian beef was horrible.
So many Fries! This is the Pepper Jack Burger 10/10! My kids loved the soda refills mozzarella sticks so crispy. Great food!

The food is amazing, however the staff is very rude. My family has been eating from here since I was younger and itâs sad how disrespectful they are to my mother. Itâs not her fault that there was a misunderstanding. today is her birthday. She is 73 years young and wanted her favorite chicken from there. She called and the guy was so rude with her. I wish I didnât live in another state because I would take her there in person so she could order her food, because she likes the chicken so much

One of the best of Italian Beefâs in the Chicagoland. You can see the beef being roasted. Giardinera is great. Fries are homemade style. Italian ice are good. Maxwell polish. Plenty of parking & lots of seating inside. Clean& accessible. Public bathroom on site. Exactly what you want from a beef/dog stand.
