I am not vegetarian but I ALWAYS get the portobello sandwich (MulataBella) and lentil soup. My kids and I love the spinach empanada. Owner is a woman of color and an immigrant bringing her family’s Brazilian dishes to OP!

I'm gluten free so I can't eat the empanadas... but the owner is great at accommodating me! I highly recommend the Turkey Meltdown on the cheese bread!

The empanadas are EVERYTHING! I will be back!

When I return to the Chicago area, I have to stop here for the empanadas because they are the best! The owner is so nice! When I have someone from the area coming to visit me, I can place my order ahead of time and she will give frozen ones with instructions so they can be delivered to me and I can have them at my home.

Food and drinks are great. Service however is an absolute disaster. Every time I go here it's like a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off. Waited 13 minutes for just an iced coffee. Meanwhile I saw just food standing on the counter waiting to be called, half made smoothies, and general lack of awareness of what the f is going on. Going to go elsewhere from now on.

Great food. They do a proper matcha with pure matcha powder and option for unsweetened. The turkey sandwich and Brazilian cheesy bread was SO delicious. Really kind and friendly staff.
