Had a big order for my family and I, the staff were so nice and got everything together ready during a busy Saturday. The food, desserts and coffee are delicious!

Empanada and coffee were good.
No prices on the menu. No descriptions of the food.
No napkins and silverware readily available. We had to search for them. Staff didn't offer up the location of the silverware and napkins.

Went here for a little brunch with my friend and got empanadas and a lemonade. The empanadas are steaming hot and they taste so delicious and the lemonade is very good, party because it is good Brazilian lemonade. I've ate here a couple of times and every time hits! The problem is that it is a little pricey and sometimes the service is a little lacking. But overall it's a once in a while treat.

I stopped in just to get a few empanadas to take home. I ordered two vegetarian, one chicken and one four cheese. The service was friendly, the atmosphere is laid back and inviting with plenty of seating if you want to eat there, sit with a drink or do some computer work. I didn't try a drink but the empanadas I ordered were tasty. The empanada was full of filling and the pastry was soft and had a nice flavor. They are large and the price is fair. I recommend giving this place a try and I definitely plan to go back.

Great food, coffee, service, & atmosphere. We each had a breakfast empanada (ham & cheese) and shared a guava cream cheese one. Both were delicious, along with the coffee—luna miel & a regular latte. Definitely recommended!

Great corner cafe serving very well-made Brazilian specialties. On my first visit, had the heart of palm empanada, cheese bread and a espresso and they were all to die for. On a second visit, had the same and all were great. Had to stop a 3rd time to try other items. We had the outstanding feijoada, and the Brazilian sweets brigadeiro and chocolate coconut cake that were perfect. Highly recommend visiting this place!

Came in this morning and was sad they didn’t have any ham and cheese empanadas left, but the beef was quite good. The strawberries and cream matcha latte was excellent. Fair prices.

This is one of my favorite gems in OP! The lentil soup is delicious and the owner is very friendly alongside her staff! It’s empowering to have a Latina owned business in Oak Park, and to see them thriving! ❤️

Mulata is our favorite local coffee shop! Every empanada is AMAZING, and the fejioda... life changing! The atmosphere is bright and fun, a great place to meet with friends. All the staff is super friendly and the owner personally checks in with her customers regularly. I would highly recommend checking it out!

I was excited about empanadas. When I went to take a bite I realized they messed up my order. They made me return the food I ate and then took everyone else’s order and then made me wait 15 minutes to get my actual order. And then the food was not even great…
