My first Nando’s was in 1998 in London. Let me just say it made an impact. We are lucky to have them in Oak Park. Their food prep is fantastic. The sauces are next level and the restaurant and service are really really great. Do yourself a favor have a party here. They also serve beer and wine. It’s next level good chicken. We’re lucky to have them in Oak Park. Insider tip get the olives.

This was my first time at the restaurant accompanied by my friend, also a first time guest. We dined in the restaurant. We each had dietary restrictions and needed guidance in our selections. The manager, Serkan Cetin, stepped in to help us. I selected chicken with medium spice and brussel sprouts, it was delicious. We enjoyed our experience at the restaurant and appreciate the attention provided to us by Serkan.

I’m writing this review because I think it’s important for the owners to know there’s a serious issue. My chicken arrived through Uber Eats, and when I cut into it, it was very undercooked. I tried eating around the red, uncooked areas, but I eventually lost my appetite. My husband’s chicken breast was also slightly undercooked, and just seeing mine made him lose his appetite too.
I called to request a refund, but I was told I would need to come in—even though I live far and was already no longer hungry.
I usually enjoy the food here, but after this experience, I will not be coming back.
