Excellent as always! The staff is extremely helpful and the baked goods and breads are always excellent.
Parking: Municipal parking lot is just a couple buildings south of the bakery, better than parking on the street.
Everyrhing is made fresh daily. They open pretty early but close by 2/3 pm. But they close cus they sell out almost every day! Some good freshly fried donuts and some delicious cakes with yummy fresh fruit fillings. Our favorite is the banana with strawberry and choco cake.

An exceptional, old school bakery. You won't get gourmand focused cupcakes here but EVERYTHING they put out is fabulous. We love their seasonal offerings. If you're jumping on the CTA, they'll pack your order for safe travel. The staff is always patient, knowledgeable, and fun. There is a small credit card minimum so bring cash if buying for 1. Bonus: if you get there in the afternoon, there are excellent deals on daily bakes. Plus there's a bench right outside in case you want to enjoy something delicious sooner than later.

While the baked goods are out of this world and so delicious the service left a lot to be desired. The older person tending to me was nice and fulfilled my order, however the younger plus sized person was very cold and dismissive. They never greeted me or acknowledged my presence. They showed no interest in helping me and I honestly felt like I was being watched. This isn’t the first time I’ve been treated this way and I think I’ll find another bakery to spend my money in.
