I went here tonight for the first time just before closing. I ordered a sampler platter and let me tell you it was terrible! The meat was old, barely recognizable and cold. I could not eat any of it!

Pulled pork sandwich was delicious, perfectly smoked pork it was still so moist barely even use my barbecue sauce except I wanted to taste it but did not need it to moisten anything u. I always start with the pulled pork, see if they can do that well, next time it's brisket!! Staff was thoughtful , friendly, helpful and kind.

My wife and i have been wanting to try this for a while now so we decided to stop over for a late lunch. We went with the biggest platter so that we could try a bit of everything and we ended up regretting it. It was all very sub par and a bit of a jumble dry mess. It was a surprisingly small portions for the cost. make sure to get a drink because most of everything we tried was a bit dry. The best meat off the platter were the chicken wings/drums 7/10. The brisket and ribs were a solid 5/10.The Mac tasted like it had an aged cheese so it wasn't our favorite. The Texas potatoes were 1/10 and we didn't eat them at all. The hush puppies and fries were pretty decent and we recommend them. There are three sauces you can use at your table. One hot, one sweet, and a nc vinegar that's more of a watery consistency. (I mixed them all together and ended up with a solid sauce) overall We are glad we tried the establishment but we won't be going back.

Kids and wife were hungry, we were originally going to go get falafels , but kids wanted ribs. It was 2 adults and 3 kids. Ended up getting the Papa Q platter which has a bit of everything. Was expecting more food on the platter, only got three bone rib to try, was expecting at least half a slab or 4 bones. They were good nothing mind-blowing. The pulled chicken was dry as well as the sliced turkey, it was if it had been reheated. The spicy sausage was better tasting, as well as the mashed potatoes. The brisket was alright as well as the pulled pork. Might come back again to try the other food options.

The food here is delicious we had the small platter with mac q cheese and coleslaw everything was so flavorful, Ian and Nick were so friendly and accommodating especially because one of us had an allergy, I would highly recommend this restaurant in Oak Park and will definitely be returning. ???

All of the BBQ is great. Love the smells from the inside, hush puppies and cornbread are absolutely amazing. The sauces are all good on any meat from here or otherwise. BBQ chicken taco is 10/10 probably best BBQ I've ever had. Ribs and pulled pork are good as well and the brownies they serve are good too. Keep up the great work, Q!
