This was a great stop near Oak Park. The appetizers were awesome. The drinks excellent and the entrees were perfect. The Sea Bass special was amazing and the personal paella were very good. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Rustic was our choice for a dinner with our daughter who lives near the restaurant. We had a wonderful pork loin dinner, short ribs gnocchi, and an entre salad. Each entree was presented in a rustic manner as befits the name. All the entres were very generous in size. Our host and waitstaff hovered unobtrusively so as to ensure a pleasant evening. I think it is a great place to eat.

I will not patronize this restraurant because of how the owners behave. Be careful with the owners, they are very disrespectful and treat people badly! I speak from my interaction after having a issue at their restraurant! We all make mistakes, its how they are handled. I wish you luck should you ever have to engage ownership.

Stopped in for brunch on our way home from the city and was impressed with the tapas and cocktails. Really nice place and vegetarian friendly.

Ordered the banana dessert and was highly disappointed. Presentation, taste and overall quality was subpar. Looked like something an amateur can do at home. It was literally sliced bananas that were caramalized on the surface.
Nothing compared to Nobu's caramelized bananas.
Also their tapas were HUGE portions on a 10 in plate! These were entire meals! Not your typical tapas. Not very appealing to the eye, when you're expecting typical tapas.

Such a memorable experience. The food was amazing and the service 10/10. A huge thank you to Vinny, Lulu, Salvador, and Alfredo for making this night easy and enjoying!
Food and service was spot on. We were seated with only a few of our party present, served our drinks and the staff waited patiently for the rest of our party. No pressure. Would recommend and will go again.

This restaurant is the best!!!
Had a birthday dinner there for 30 and from the menu, to my over the top table request, to the service, top notch all around. Someone left a hand written note on the table and it was accidentally thrown out and they insisted on finding it and they did. Latine owned and will be my go to going forward!!!!

Rústico in Oak Park is an excellent spot for a business lunch. The space is comfortable and well laid out for conversation, the location is convenient, and the staff is attentive without hovering.
I had the chicken masala lunch and it was outstanding—very flavorful, well-prepared, and served in a generous portion that felt like a real meal (not a “lunch special” in name only). Great food, great service, and a place I’ll gladly return to.

We came here to celebrate my mothers 75th birthday. It was big group, 13 or so. Our server was fine, however, be sure to ask for your salad BEFORE the entree as ours all came at the same time. I ordered the chicken montecarlo...it was good. Chicken slightly overcooked but good nonetheless. Most dishes were ok to really good. All in all it was a fine evening until we got home. At the end of the night we asked another employee to take a few pictures of us. It was late and we had small children so we took the photos, said goodbyes and left. When my mother got home she noticed the employee had made sure to allow his fellow workers the opportunity to photo bomb most of our pictures. She was not happy. While we didn't let that incident spoil the time we had together, its unfortunate (and most unprofessional) that this is the treatment we got after spending over $650. Moreover, after my sister tried talking to the manager the next day she was summarily dismissed. Again, rude and unprofessional. So we've learned two things....not to go back and to always check the quality of the photo when taken by anyone, especially a stranger. I wish folks would make it easier to trust rather than harder, but I suppose these are the times.

We chose this restaurant for my mother’s 75th birthday and the service was subpar at best. Appetizers were served with entree and not separated. We had asked the waiter to take our group picture and the waitstaff PHOTO BOMBED are pictures! Ruining that moment for us. When we called the next day to speak with a manager we were denied, we were told no one will call you back, there’s nothing they could do, and there’s no recourse for what happened! Customer service not given what’s so ever not even an apology and was told they weren’t gonna give the manager the message. There are other restaurants that are far better hands down. Extremely disappointed in this establishment.

We had lived in Oak Park for 20 years. There has been a lot of good Italian restaurants in Oak Park. Rustico goes to the top of my list for Oak Park Italian Restaurants. The ambience surrounds you as soon you walk thru the door. A lot of details were obviously discussed, even the chairs are different and blend in. Our pasta dishes were excellent. I will be back.
