It's pretty expensive for tapas. The patatas bravas and the albóndigas are pretty good for the price and are great for a light dinner with a beer or wine. The pulpo a la plancha, however, is absolutely gross. They ought to be ashamed of themselves letting such dry and chewy octopus leave their kitchen and charge that much for it. Especially when they give you only get a few small pieces of it.Otherwise the place is okay. There are good drink options, and I have never experienced bad service or anything. It's just not a place for seafood.

Last year I wrote a rave review about this place while they were still on Lake Street. The last time we went to the new location it felt as if pod people had taken over the staff. What happened to all of the friendly people who knew us and greeted us so warmly? This time we felt totally disregarded and unappreciated. We were regular customers before the “upgrade”. I really miss the killer lamb chops and bread pudding but will not tolerate the type of reception we received. I may still order carryout but I really miss the outdoor seating and exceptional service of the past. Thanks for the memories

This is a cool restaurant in Oak Park, first off the service and atmosphere was dope. Big wide open room with a view of their pizza oven and pizza making station. Bar also is immaculate. Menu is interesting because it’s like 1/2 tapas and 1/2 big plates. We started with tapas and got the short rib, meatballs, potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts and potatoes were perfect. Meat balls and short rib could have been better seasoned and was forgettable. Drinks were good and forsure recommend. The star of the show tho was the paella which was sooooo delicious. Freshly cooked and one of the best I’ve had. If you’re in the area this is cool spot to stop by.

I can't rant and rave enough about this establishment. It was great dish after great dish brought out. We started off with tapas but the serving of tapas was like a main dish. The patatas, brussel sprouts, scallops all were super tasty. They weren't stingy with the portions at all. Their sangria was delicious, too. The lava cake you have to try.

My husband and I went to Rustico for a date night. The atmosphere was nice without being too fancy. We had the beef short rib crostini, Rustico paella, and a sausage tomato penne dish (sorry, can't remember the name). Everything was delicious and the main entree portions were large. We would like to go back and try more dishes!
It was my first time. We went for a business lunch. Right when it opened. Unfortunately our salad orders were both wrong even after asking for slight adjustments. I'm allergic to blue cheese and I still got it on my salad after saying no cheese. My colleague had a similar situation. When she asked the server to fix hers the server was upset. I'm going to assume it was more towards the kitchen then my colleague. I elected to not eat my salad and took home to my daughter. I'll come back again to try but was a little disappointed in the overall service.

I asked for a lemon drop martini, and the waiter bought me a strawberry martini. I returned it . Next time, just give me a different glass see the specks of red in the martini

Such a wonderful time me and my fiancé had in our last visit. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional. This is definitely one our favorite places to go to. We had the beat salad and the lobster soup as appetizers. Entree were Gnocchi and Salmon, highly recommended. My favorite drink is the Isabel so refreshing. If you're looking for good ambiance, great service and good food Rustico is your best option.

Four friends from four different locals chose Rustico as a meeting place and we were not disappointed! Service and food were fantastic. The restaurant is great looking. The menu is terrific. Looking forward to visiting again.
