Stopped here for an impromptu lunch. Was not anticipating the quality of the food and service we would receive. They have an ample menu to hit any Italian cravings you may have. The restaurant was clean and appealing. The staff were very courteous and helpful in describing the menu selections. They have plenty of parking and seem to be able to accommodate large groups. Easy to access near the Eisenhower expressway.

Absolutely love Salerno's, I have been a customer since they were located on 16th st in Berwyn. I ordered the fetticine alfredo with pancetta and it was amazing. Large portion and so creamy. My waitress Jeanne was so awesome. Freindly and attentive. Jeanne sang happy Birthday to a table of two women. Just her singing, so adorable! Moved to Antioch so don't get to Oakpark very often. Someone opened a Salernos in Mchenry. To my disappointment, a total fail! Yikes

My bf brought home a slice of their pizza one day. He had went there for lunch and had brought home what he hadn't finished. I took a small bite and almost immediately fell in love. The bread was so thick and soft, the sauce was perfection. I don't remember the toppings, but it doesn't matter because I would eat it a thousand times over even if it was just plain cheese.
