I was disappointed during my most recent visit to Spilt Milk; I'm fairly certain (though not positive) that the price of quiche slices has raised to $9, but more than that I was aware of the smaller serving they are now providing customers. The slice of quiche I received today was noticeably smaller than in the past, and the new plastic containers that now hold the slices has changed to mask that fact. I love this place so much! First off it’s so homey inside which I love. Any place that makes me feel at home is a win for me. The staff is always polite and pleasant but the thing that takes the cake for me is the Mexican chocolate cookie. I dream about this cookie often. I make my best friend bring me some every time he comes in town and I stop every time I come up there. I send this place to everyone I know going up to Chicago it’s that good.
The Horchata Matcha is SUBLIME!💚 It is delicious and refreshing. They also have great bakery options. I actually am not a fan of quiche, but I always get a slice when I go! The crust is perfect! However, the best part is the service. Everyone that works there is so incredibly kind and they always brighten my day!
