This is a secret hidden gem! Best chocolate croissants I have ever had. Since becoming vegan, it is the one thing I find myself dreaming about. The chai latte is also wonderful. Just simply walking past this coffee shop, you can smell the baked goods drawing you in for a sweet treat.

A little Paris in Oak Park. Their almond croissants are buttery perfection, and the macarons rival any I've had in France.

Came in on a Sunday morning. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and cordial. My oat milk late was perfect! Merci!!

Favorite bakery around Oak Park. Their croissants are amazing, and they always have a variety of options.

Sugar Fixé did the most amazing custom cake for a Mozzarella Stick theme birthday! Not only was the cake delicious, the mozzarella sticks looked real. Cannot recommend Corrie and her team enough!

Always a great place to stop for quiche and coffee. ❤️❤️❤️

I understand that Sugar Fixé is a pastry shop, but I hope their pastries are better than their coffee, and can also make up for their interior design and cleanliness

I’ve lived and walked around River Forest and Oak Park my whole life and used to go here as a kid… it’s changed. I ordered and couldn’t see what I ordered on the screen because she didn’t turn it around and didn’t offer me my receipt. I bought a six dollar small mocha for there and got a latte instead. They offered to fix it, which was nice. Didn’t really try their pastries and desserts so I can’t comment too much on that. Cleaning equipment everywhere and wrinkles in the napkins… it feels like a worn-out-confused-sterile-white-walled attempt at a coquette aesthetic bakery/cafe. Not super cute for the family, friend meet-up, or a date. Very sad to see how downhill it has gotten.

Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy-free milk substitutes

Parking: Parking lot is very close by. Located on Marion Street, which is very cute street to walk around and window shop. Very much a place more suited for two-person seating. Not really any outlets on the wall if you’re looking for a cute café study space.

Kid-friendliness: Small calm place a family can stop by for a quick treat, and can go do a little window shopping after (Pumpkin Moon is nearby!)

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs if you are concerned about accessibility, I’m not sure about how you might feel about the doorframe’s width if that is a concern.

Delicious desserts at great prices.

If you are having a wedding in the city, make this your cake/dessert vendor. They have tons of flavors and options at very reasonable prices. Corrie is so easy and pleasant to work with, very helpful at providing a customized experience within budget. Every one I interacted with at the shop was polite, kind, and helpful. We had a cake and a variety of mini desserts (cupcakes, brownies, fruit tarts, etc). Everything was delivered on time on the day of the wedding without any issues.

Everything, especially the wedding cake, was gorgeous and delicious. The mini coconut cake cupcakes with mango frosting was a guest favorite. Corrie and her team were even able to create and fulfill an off menu request for matcha flavored mini cupakes.

They did an outstanding job and gave us an amazing dessert spread well within budget.

Thankfully I'm not allergic to any fruit, because the "flourless chocolate cake" (which wasn't even that, it was just ganache) had a hidden layer of some sort of fruit coulis. It would've been nice if that had been what the sign said since I hate fruit with chocolate and just wouldn't have ordered it.

Monkey bread was dry. Hot chocolate was nothing special. Total was around $25. Not worth it.

My wife went to buy macaroons for my birthday at 6:15pm on a Saturday. Their posted hours say they close at 7pm. She said their doors were locked and there was someone inside cleaning up at the counter. She said they looked up from their work, looked at her, and with no acknowledgement walked out of the front of house and in to the back. Thanks Sugar Fixè!

It is a fine bakery. The macaroons and dessert I had were a bit bland, very sweet without any other strong flavors. The most recent time I went there, the storefront wasn’t particularly clean.

We had the pleasure of having Sugar Fixe do our wedding cake and I cannot praise them enough! The cake turned out absolutely beautiful and delicious and our guests loved it! Corrie made the whole process, from the tasting to the day of a complete dream and I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you!!

I tried the vanilla macaroons. They were fresh and tasted great. I tried their vanilla cupcake, but was disappointed because it was dry and stale. I wouldn’t come back because the cleanliness of this place was off putting.
