Had the chicken and grilled shrimp. It was REALLY good. The mild sauce and cocktail sauce had so much flavor to go with the chicken and shrimp which were also seasoned to perfection. Really really good food. I will be a regular. Also it’s a nice size location with great parking!

Exceptional chicken, nice people, for the most part. Seldom a long wait. J and j’s rude personnel can go. Never will see me again. This my go to now! Revised. The wings I received last time were TINY. Don’t know what happened. I guess it’s my cue to give up fried foods…..still tastes good but not worth $30.

Stopped in today - First time trying Surfs Up - Everything was great - We ordered Cat Fish - Shrimp - Fried Green Tomatoes - Cheesy Grits - Dirty Rice and Fried Biscuits - Every thing was DELICIOUS - Staff answered all questions about the menu - Very Friendly - Great Customer Service - I will definitely be back!!!!

3 stars because I ordered once before, and the food was good. However, I have been listening to the sounds of the restaurant since the young man answered, asked me to hold, and then set the phone down (15 minutes now). I don't know where the phone is, but I imagine he can see that it's off of the base, or at least that there are no calls coming in. I'm really hopeful that he will pick up, apologize, and take my order. If not, I'll order somewhere else and try here another day because I'm pretty turned off for now.

My hubby and I ordered two shrimp po'boys. They were delicious. The sauce was so good not too spicy. The bread was fresh and the shrimp cooked well. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is one of the best po'boys I've had.
