Nice place to get some sushi and other foods that will fill u up nicely. We were seated pretty quickly, and our order was taken even quicker. The price is high, so be aware u will be paying a good amount for some tasty food. I've came back to place many times and it never let's down.

What an absolutely spectacular sushi spot! Yes, they have more than sushi, but their sushi is what really stole the show for me. Located on a popping street in downtown Oak Park, Sushi House is a medium-sized restaurant that serves up both classic and unique sushi rolls along with other noodle dishes, apps, and drinks (they have tons of martinis). The staff here was super nice; they seemed a bit short-staffed and even with that, they were attentive and kind. The restaurant itself is cozy with Japanese style decor. I loved it! So serene, cute, and clean. There's street parking where you can pay to park (super cheap) otherwise I'm sure there's a public parking garage somewhere nearby. Now onto the sushi - this was the best part. Our sushi rolls were all 10/10, we were obsessed. We got the Wild Roll, 2011 roll, 2021 roll, and Forbidden City roll. Everything was SO fresh, beautifully presented, and just tasted delicious. It was also our first time trying black rice which we really liked. The 2021 roll was so refreshing with mango and the special sauce they used with the roll. The Wild roll was perfectly coated in its toppings, same with the other rolls. Truly have nothing bad to say about the sushi it was just fantastic. And for how these rolls were, I was expecting them to be pretty expensive but this is actually an affordable sushi restaurant. I wish we tried some of their martinis since they had such unique creations - that'll be on the list for next time! Would 100% come here again. Loved my experience here!

I recently tried the Pork Ramen at this restaurant during lunchtime. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish it as the noodles were overcooked and the pork was dry and tough. This costly experience left me disappointed, and I don't think I will be returning to this place in the future.
Excellent service, very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was peaceful. Food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend and will be back.

Was there on a cold Chicago afternoon shortly after opening. Took a while to get attention for ordering, and getting the check after my meal was complete. Good itself was well priced, decent but not spectacular Bento Box lunch. Vibe during busy hours is actually different and more upbeat.
