Sweet Monster - Bubble Tea, Ice Cream & Deserts

I had the summer shine ice cream and it was great I enjoyed it. The service was fast and the place is clean. They have a lot of options and I'll come back to try some of there other items.

Horrible service we were not greeted when we walked in and there was nobody in the front which was fine I walked to the self-serve kiosk. We ordered at the kiosk, and then two other people walked in minutes later, and the girl stopped making our drinks to make theirs. The girl was rude. I said thank you, but she didn’t even acknowledge it until I said it again. To make this worse the drinks were pretty bad all powdered-based and so artificial tasting. For the price they charge they could at least use frozen fruit. The girl also looked like she just didn't want to be there slamming everything.

If i can give Zero stars for the service i would but i cant. I hope the owner see the review because i cant find any information to contact the owner of the place. I done live far from the place and my kids buy drinks and ice cream at least once in the summer. My teen daugther just asked my to drop by tonight for a drink and good part the place closes late on a colder weather. I ordered 910 pm and i was on my way home from errands. The clover ordering app says it will be ready in 10 minutes. I did was not able to pick up my order till 945pm. I saw the drink sitting on the counter warm from the boba and the place is not cool enough from air conditioning since it is cold out. I mentioned the situation to the staff and she was looking at me like im crazy. I said that the drink was supposedly cold because it is a cold drink. In the summer, when i order ahead of time, the drinks come out of the fridge. The staff says, they dont store the drinks in the fridge because it is winter time per policy of the owner. I dont think that is true. The temperature of the drink should stay the way it should be to preserve the quality of service and food. Right before i left the place, i told her that the drink should stay chilled. She was on the work space and just pure ignorance acting like at home without professionalism and proper service. She lied about my order was just about the same time and disregarded my information about the food was sitting on the counter for at least 25 minutes. The room temperature place is not a good place for storage of a cold drink. If i ordered room temp boba then i would specify room temp. Unless that is how your quality is now. You cant miss on good quality product and service since you have other competition around the neighborrhood. Your staff should be more knowledgable about food handling and proper customer interaction. You are not usually like this in the summer when you have better staff.

Came in excited and left disappointed rude as employee didn’t even greet. I ordered and it seems like she was upset throwing stuff around like if she didn’t want to work won’t be coming here again

I recently went in for a taro drink & saw they had a large signage with a phone number the community can call for assistance/questions on ICE. It seems they have since then taken it down. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but considering the customer demographic characteristics, community, staff & current situation- I feel they shouldn’t have put it up just to take it back down. It feels as if they aren’t being supportive, or are afraid to promote the help in fear of losing certain customers. Either way, the establishment is very clean & the drinks and staff are amazing! I’m just disappointed with them taking it down.

Super sweet staff 🥹 the rolled ice cream is delicious! I will be back for a coffee. Just left there now and the employee was the sweetest and most patient with my wild children.

I ordered a pineapple/coconut with the balls. I love that drink. But it was over $9..

We went to the Sweet Monster yesterday and it was 105 degrees in the store. The minute we saw the two kids workers faces we knew something was wrong. They were definitely dehydrated & im sure they will have heat exhaustion today. The kids could barely keep their heads up as much as they were trying. I quickly looked on line to see who the owner is and its the realtor that owns the space next door, Paul Lui. The kids working reported the owner couldn't get the air fixed until Monday. These poor kids didn't know their rights and that they shouldn't even be open. Bad buisness Paul. You should CLOSE for the day if you're too cheep to pay for the air to be fixed on a Sunday. Why aren't you working the store? Is it too hot for you? If those were my kids working you'd have a lawsuit. Be a smarter biz owner. You lost our weekly Sunday buisness with our group of friends.

Appeared great clean great service but good god why are the workers subject to that kinda heat treat then Better Sham on you owner !!
