If you’re in Oak Park and craving a fun, flavorful dessert, Sweet Monster Rolled Ice Cream Parlor is a must-visit. I stopped in recently and was seriously impressed—not just by the ice cream, but by the whole experience.
Watching the rolled ice cream being made right in front of you is half the fun. The staff were super friendly and clearly knew what they were doing.

As soon as you walk in, the place looks pretty good but the people working there aren’t welcoming at all. They all seem antisocial. The wait is tooo long for what we order. Overall experience is not that good. I like to go to places that give good vibes and feel welcoming. This is not one of those places.
