It would be a nice asset to the community if they could figure out their own hours. They open late, they close early, they’re posted hours don’t mean anything, and it’s frustrating because when they’re open, they’re usually a good place to go to.

Visited here for the first time this past week to study. I got the Vanilla Bourbon latte which was fantastic. The barista was so kind! She answered some questions I had and was so helpful. Great environment to get some work done.
I returned again with some friends yesterday and again had a very positive experience. My friend accidentally knocked over her drink, but it was the same barista as last time and she was extremely sweet about it and remade the drink. HIGHLY recommend. Clearly a lovely staff and a great establishment. :)

Just had the most wonderful experience at Vigo Coffee! The staff were kind enough to let us host our book club meeting there and they were so accommodating and helpful! The Café de Olla latte was so good, and so was the egg, ham, and cheese croissant. They make a really decent almond matcha latte too! Wish our coffees were hotter since it was a really cold January day, but also I prefer it not scalding either! They really set us up so nicely, the staff were really great. Love the cozy vibe here! Will definitely be back soon, with or without the club!

I went in today and had a great experience. This is one of my favorite cafes. The main barista helped me and he was very friendly as he always is! He always gives great customer service. He let me look over the menu without rushing me to double check what I would like. The coffee was amazing and the place is so cute. Will definitely come back as I always do. The staff was great.

My friend and I were the only customers in line. The person working did not acknowledge us, kept walking away, and we saw them taste something on their hand and SPIT TWICE into the sink where the clean cups are being washed. Never again. The gentleman working here is not friendly at all.

It’s a good location close to many shops and the busy streets of this neighborhood including a bus stop. At the time of my visit there was only one person working and they were in the back room so it took a few minutes of waiting for them to come to the front to serve the line of customers. I asked to add caramel to a macchiato and was told that’s not possible and I had to get a latte to add a syrup so to get a flavor I was recommended a latte. It was quickly made and it’s fine, just very expensive for what it is.

This cafe is cozy. The art on display is for sale by local artists. They had plenty of seating and made it feel as if I was at a gallery sipping coffee. Their lattes are a tad too sweet, but still delicious. Their pastries and breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Friendly and quick service.

Love this place! Went in with my friend yesterday and we both received amazing service. The barista greeted us and made us feel welcomed he also had good recommendations when asked! The place is clean and very comfortable space. This is a great place to stop on the way to work and get you a coffee and a sandwich! I will be back!
This place is amazing! I went in yesterday for some coffee and the barista that was a young man was super helpful and friendly! He let me look over the menu and didn’t rush me to order. Despite being busy and having a lot of customers he made my drink so good! It was delicious. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know! This morning, I stopped by the café with a friend to work. When I went to pay for my order, I noticed the Toast system was down. Toast payment hubs flashes blue lights when they are on, and this one wasn't. I asked the man at the counter about it, but he insisted the issue was with my card. He took my card and tried swiping it multiple times. I explained that this was my second card and that it seemed like a system issue, but he continued to say it was my card and insinuated that I did not have the funds to pay this $9 coffee.
My friend stepped in to help and offered her card, which also didn’t go through. He again tried swiping and bending her card, only for the payment to not register, clearly showing the Toast system was down. Despite that, he told my friend that I was being disrespectful, which was surprising since I was calmly trying to explain that I just wanted to pay and the system wasn’t working. My friend pointed out that his response was uncalled for, and he finally acknowledged the issue, though he wasn’t particularly helpful or solution-oriented.
To talk down to me in front of my friend when the issue was exactly what I had said from the start is beyond me. To even interpret my calm explanation as “disrespectful” felt racially charged, and the lack of an apology once he realized I was right was disappointing.
It’s disappointing, as my friend had spoken highly of the café’s coffee and owners, but after this experience, we don’t plan on returning.

My wife and I stopped by yesterday morning and unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. We weren’t greeted when we walked in, even though the place wasn’t busy and there was no line. The man who took our order seemed uninterested and even a bit annoyed, as if taking our order was an inconvenience. Thankfully, the person who handed us our items was much friendlier and provided better customer service. The food and coffee were both great! I just wish the person at the counter had shown a bit more acknowledgment when we walked in — it really would’ve made what could’ve been a great visit even better.

This is a FANTASTIC coffee shop, great customer service despite a small staff…the barista gets your meal items and beverage out so fast. You may walk past many other coffee shops on your way here but you will not be disappointed that you chose Vigo!
