Winberie's Restaurant & Bar

We had a great lunch. As always the food was delicious! So sorry to see this place close. Our family has many wonderful stories from this restaurant.

We happened on this place on a blustery October afternoon. We had a scrumptious meal with a terrifically splendid waiter. Fish tacos and sweet potato fries were plentiful and tasty. Spaghetti bolognese was excellent with glass of red wine, La Ginestra.

My husband and I have been frequent diners at Winberies. The food is excellent but what we will miss most is our favorite waiter - Matthew. He is a top rate server, not only because he gets things correct, but more so, his demeanor, his kindness, his friendliness are five star. He always had a smile for us, remembered our names, and never rushed us when we asked about his life, interests, etc. He made us feel like important people - and at times, elderly people are dismissed. Not Matthew. We really are going to miss him. Matthew is a rare young man and anyone he serves always leaves the restaurant feeling better and blessed. What a treasure! Best of everything as he moves on from this very fine restaurant.

I'm sorry they're closing. Lovely Cozy Restaurant for family, for romantic dinners, for business lunches or just chillin by yourself. I'll miss everything about this restaurant

Great place for a quick bite or a family meal. Staff is amazing and the food is superb. Try the calamari!

Even though we had reservations, there was a long wait at the door while the waitress was on a phone call. After the phone call ended she sat us in a location that didn't have a servers. Finally a waiter came by informing us there wasn't anyone for that table but he would take our order.

I had a great at this restaurant. We enjoyed the first-rate ambience and the menu. The staff members were very friendly. I’m content we eventually decided to visit this spot.

Great Oak Park Restaurant. They offer a Sunday Brunch. This is positive and negative. Positive if you want lunch, but negative if you want to order off the menu. I believe that you have to go with the brunch before 1pm on Sundays. I highly recommend the grilled tuna salad sandwich on sourdough bread!

I thought this was a reasonably priced good meal. I got their cheeseburger. The real impressive food there was the bread. Usually bread at these restaurants is kind of meh, but the bread here was remarkably tasty.

Very clean and upscale. Its meter parking around there till 8 pm. Food was very good and waiters very helpful.

Wonderful restaurant. My wife and I are staying just down the road and found this place. What I find!! We both enjoyed their Excellent food. Decor is very nice, price are reasonable I have no complaints at all about our choice tonight for dinner

Highly recommended! We are from Pittsburgh and our Chicago relatives suggested Winberie for our much needed reunion dinner. Great food and drinks. Our waitress was wonderful and was very understanding, as she gave us time to catch up and talk. The restaurant is elegant and is in a wonderful location.The atmosphere and vibes are welcoming and the noise volume is low, allowing for good conversation and laughter. We definitely enjoyed our time at this restaurant, and are full of good wholesome memories. The food was delicious and moderately priced for the restaurants location. Our parties food choices consisted of 2 burgers, 1 steak, and a Cobb salad. Meat is cooked perfectly and the portions are generous. There is both street parking as well as a parking garage less than a block away. Thanks for the experience, winberie!

Server nice and attentive. Food coming out very slow. Food beautiful presentation. Good flavor

Had two drinks and they were unique and strong. Food was ok- had the specials. Ambiance is nice.... wished it was more impressive.
