3rd time in a row... waited 5 mins each for two cars ahead of me to even start their order then caught in line for another 20... i could see the attendant giving and taking back wrong bags and of course my order was wrong when i drove up... was then handed a large coke that felt awfully light... opened it up and it was packed to the brim with crushed ice and about 4 ozs of flat soda -- cup was less then half full... Sonic Drive-In offers enjoyable food like cheesy tots, mozzarella sticks, garlic burger, and cheeseburger. The cherry limeade and good service make it a great spot, even late at night. The OFallon IL location is praised, despite occasional understaffing and slow service, with some guests expecting a 15–20 minute wait in the drive-thru lane. Customers often visit for the footlong chili cheese coneys and onion rings, which are favorites among fast food options. The drive-up service is convenient, but delays in receiving orders have been noted, with one instance taking 35 minutes for a Route 44 drink and Sonic Blast. The outdoor seating needs maintenance, and many stalls have experienced issues, such as malfunctioning computers. While the food is generally hot and fresh, some have mentioned that the portions seem slightly smaller compared to other Sonic locations. The drinks are usually good, but there are complaints about sticky cups and inadequate napkin supply. Despite these concerns, the staff is always happy, and the food remains delicious, making it an overall decent place for a tasty meal and drinks. However, some customers have expressed worry about the lights being off at 9 PM on a Saturday, raising concerns about the management’s attentiveness.
