Lawrence's Fish & Shrimp

We ordered a large catfish strips & a reg wing zing added the pip & fries. The food didn’t taste like it did the last time we ate there, which was weird. But in the wee hrs of the morning I was sick stomach craps & vomiting I’ll stick to the Lawrence’s in the city!

It's great to have Lawrence's Fisheries in the south suburbs. The food tastes just as great as it does on 22nd street without a long travel or long lines. I also like the rewards program where you can get money for spending money there. Because of my rewards, my next meal should be free!!

Just finished eating right outside the restaurant, and everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! Mr. Marvin took my order and was incredibly helpful—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. You can really tell when food is made fresh and with care. Definitely worth the stop—I'll be back!

Ordered the catfish steaks. Typically, I go to JJ’s but willing to try something different. Beyond disappointed as this is a fishery!!! No seasoning, pepper, salt, something but nothing but 3 wannabe pieces of fish. I can’t even claim it was catfish steaks as I am accustomed to the shape of catfish steaks but this order clearly did not have the shape, smell nor taste. The fish I received were thick cuts with a lot of fine bones. Out of the 3, I ate half of the smallest piece and threw what remained away. Shame on Your establishment!!! When you know better, you do better. Do Better!!!
The staff was incredible- friendly, respectful and professional.

The food tastes nothing like it used to. I ordered the fish chips. Actually it was inedible and the stray cats wouldn't even eat it. All breading no actual fish. The young lady at the register asked if I wanted crackers which I replied yes. Guess what no crackers in the bag. I'm definitely not going there again.

Whitefish was a bit dry and small pieces.
Mushrooms were good.
Overall a bit expensive for the whole meal.
First time going there, not sure if I would go back.

This was my 1st time trying Lawrence’s and I honestly was not too impressed 🥺 I ordered the perch strips, shrimp and an order of fries. The shrimp was OK but I felt truly let down with the fish as there was absolutely no seasoning or flavor. I felt like I could’ve received better fish elsewhere like JJ’s or Dock’s!

I don’t want to say I’ll never come back here again as there is ALWAYS room for improvement, however, I would suggest seasoning the fish before and after frying. I don’t think I was offered mild sauce or lemon pepper either but if they have it, definitely offer that too!

The customer service was amazing and have no complaints!
