“I grew up in Philly, and my parents ran their own restaurant selling cheesesteaks, hoagies, hamburgers, and hot dogs. People came from miles around for their delicious cheesesteaks. So of course I had to check out Charley's in Olympia Fields. I ordered their Old School Cheesesteak. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars because I thought it was a bit salty. I also didn't feel that the cheese was actual cheese but a Velveta-like cheese you squeeze out of a bottle. If I return to Charley's I will ask that they cut down on the salt and allow the customer to salt it on their own. I'll also discreetly ask about the "cheese" they use. My parents cooked the steaks with actual slices of American cheese not cheese squeezed from a bottle.
I'm happy for Charleys as I read all the positive views here, but if any of the reviewers grew up in Philly, i think their verdict would mirror mine!”

(2015) Decided to visit Jerk-n-Go b/c it was new in the neighborhood & I was starving!

A relative of mine told me their Jerk Salad was delicious therefore, I decided to try an item off the lunch special:

Jerk Chicken White - $8.00
W/ a side choice of Mac & Cheese
& a Beef Patty!

Jerk Chicken- very moist and juicy with/ the skin falling off! It was soooo good! I wish there was a bigger portion! I didn't need to sauce because the meat was very well seasoned! The sauce is spicy, but it was good to test taste. I'm not a spicy eater so that small container of sauce was more than enough for me. If you crave spicy, then you may need more than one sauce lol.

Mac & Cheese- it was good. I wouldn't order the item again for a side; I'll probably try the candied yams! I was debating in my head between the two, but I should have selected the yams.

Rice & Beans- all I can say is, it was delicious! Once again, I wish the portion was bigger but that may be b/c of it being a Lunch special as oppose to a dinner special. But I usually go to Ya Mon in Country Club Hills and their rice isn't moist like Jerk-N-Go! You'll love the rice!

Beef Patty- OMGGGGGGG!!! This is a must try!! I should have ordered another one! This is good for someone that is curious about trying this restaurant but do not really want to order a lot; try this! And get two!! Because the first one, will melt & disappear in your mouth like a Krispy Kreme Doughnut lol!

Customer Service- The chef was very friendly and welcoming!

Atmosphere: very clean and semi- spacious with a large flat screen television mounted high on the wall as you can see in the photos!

I noticed they are expanding to the Citgo Gas Station on Lincoln Highway! That's great news to here! Hopefully there will be some beef patties!

update (2023): Definitely recommend the white jerk chicken dinner.

Parking: approx. 5 parking spots in front of the entrance. on the side, plenty of parking but you will need to walk over from Bizio's parking lot.”

“I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!”

“I’m a cook, kudos to All out smoke Pit. The best rib tips , turkey tips and the balance of the food. Haven’t had Barbecue like this since Alice on 43rd between Wabash and Michigan Ave. Moreover Alice , there’s a new Queen and King of Barbecue. It’s the best! I have recommended their food to everyone I know. So far no disappointments!”

“We absolutely love this place and the owners! They are so accommodating and helpful to make sure you get exactly what you want! We always get the chicken Tikka Masala, Chole Gravy (comes with fried Indian bread that's to die for), and the Aloo Paratha. So yummy! The Samosas are the best I've ever had but are a bit too spicy for my taste. We tend to order them anyway and power through the spice because they're so dang good! Lol. 10 out of 10!”

“Driving from Ohio to Minnesota, Google routed me through off interstate routes to avoid traffic delays. Nature was making a collect call when an oasis from heaven opened up along the road with plenty of parking to get my pickup and trailer in. I parked, went to the gas station and found it was locked and couldn’t get to the restroom. So I went over to the place next door to use the bathroom. I don’t like using a place without ordering, so I ordered the fired chicken sandwich with fries and a drank. I was pleasantly surprised when my total was less than my same order from McDonald’s the day before! The fries were done perfectly, crispy on the outside and perfectly salted. The fried chicken did not let me down, this was so juicy and tasty. I went after it so hard, I had juices in my beard! I only live 450 miles from here, but I will be sure to lock this in as a waypoint when traveling through! I did not see anything that was ordered that didn’t look amazing. I WILL BE BACK!”
