I ordered a burrito carne asada, very delicious but a little pricey for the size. I think $8.00 vs $15 woulda been a much better & fair price. I got a Jarrito too.

Excellent beef tacos, service was fresh food so it took a little longer but I was made just for me and not pre made waiting to be purchased like a fast food restaurant. We will return, fantastic looking forward to trying more.

Great food and great service! Plenty of food for what we paid. No complaint on price. Prices on everything are going up and we thought it was reasonable. It's a small town, assuming family owned and operated, business. Make sure to tip the young waitress (assuming she is no older than 8!) because she deserves it! So glad to have found an authentic Mexican restaurant near my work. We will definitely be back!

I have had many tacos, many times, in many towns. These were quality! Really, really good. Whoever questioned the price was very wrong. The tacos are huge and should cost twice as much. Tremendously pleasant staff. Easy to find, easy to order. A person who gives one star because of cash, should lose their right to post reviews! It’s a roadside taco place…. Why would they take credit and pay fees. Allowing credit card transactions could quite possibly cause this fantastic establishment to lose some of its luster and mystique. By the way, I forgot to mention the guacamole and chips that taste as though a committee of the finest Mexican chefs had a discussion, offered input, then created this magnificent side dish. If you find yourself traveling on I-57, be sure to stay hungry and excited for this special taco stop.!!!

This place used to be one of my favorites years ago. Not sure what happened but the last couple of times I've gone there, ordered steak burritos on both visits to be very disappointed as to how tough and grisly the meat is. And to top that off, on the last visit I was charged over $12 for a single burrito! I can get a very nice meal in a very nice sit in Mexican restaurant for that $. This place is nothing more than an over sized out house and I'll never go back!

So glad we stopped! Friendly and delicious. It's only a few minutes away from the Tesla superchargers in Gilman.

Sorry to be the dissenter. Stopped to get a burrito after reading the reviews and was slapped with sticker shock of nearly $13 for a pork burrito, which should've been $6 tops for a road side taco stand. The burrito had several large chunks of fat, which I cannot stand. There was so much grease running out that I felt I needed to wring it out like a dishrag. I ate about half, the rest went into the next trash can I stopped at. Big disappointment.

Went to restaurant for the first time and expected excellence especially because they had hits for migrant workers so I expected authentic tacos carne asada taco was $4 it was okay but not wonderful and did that seem like a five-star restaurant to me I had much better experiences in Chicago it seemed a little on the expensive side not a $1 sign expense I'll go back to try the torta in the future I wish they had the menu on a board with prices I feel that I may have paid more money without a solid physical menu present that's about $12 for two tacos + 2 sodas
