This is a real old-fashioned drive up diner. I can't wait to go back to try more menu items. The chicken wrap filled with crispy honey chicken and an amazing sauce, chocolate shake, and onion rings were fantastic!

The decor inside was wonderful and the ice cream was great as well. The service was pleasant and welcoming. The burger I ordered was really dry and bland, was disappointed.

Oh man food was good, Got am almost comically large pork tenderloin sandwich and made the mistake of also ordering a burger. If I'm I'd have known how big the pork tenderloin sandwich was, I wouldn't have had a burger I took like 2 bites out of - though both were fantastic. The real star of the show though - they make their own root beer. I'm a root beer fanatic and it's one of the best I've ever had, wish they actually bottled it up. We were camping at Lowden Miller and caught it in the way in, I actually came back and got a root beer float on the way out.

We were out for a ride on our motorcycle and in search of ice cream. We recalled stopping in Oregon IL with a group as we passed by a few years back. We stopped and wondered why we hadn't come back sooner.
The ice cream has flavors we don't see where we live, about 65 miles away. The portions were huge especially considering the cost.
The staff is friendly and willing to explain when you ask about flavors with names that are fun but not real descriptive.
We will be back, more often than one might think.

Real ice cream reasonably priced! Why would anyone go to Dairy Queen or McDonalds to pay $5+ for soft serv. Jay's is the place for ice cream and great service.

Food came out pretty fast . Was $41 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat with no drinks . The food was on par with an A&W for the most part . The ‘ Jays pulled pork’ was a little small for the price . Cheese curds weren’t crunchy but overall still a decent spot .

Great little drive-in spot. The prices were very reasonable and the variety was excellent. We got the deluxe bacon double cheeseburger which was very tasty and large, and the Philly cheesesteak which was also good. The chicken sandwich was just okay. The fries and curly fries were both crispy and had good flavor. For drinks, we got the homemade root beer and root beer float. Both were lacking a bit on the root beer flavor but the soft serve was good. The service was quick, and helpful. Overall, a fun little drive-in spot if you want a tasty well-priced meal.
