Had to try out this Friday fish fry I kept seeing on Facebook. Boy was I disappointed. I got the all you can eat fish and my wife got the 16 oz New York strip. Fish was really old. Nothing was edible on the entire buffet. In fact, nobody checked on it the entire hour we dined in. So people are being fed hour old fried fish. Maxson Restaurant really came through for me this Mother’s Day, and they didn’t even realize how big of a deal it was. My parents recently moved to Rockford, and taking my dad, who has dementia, out to eat can be a challenge. So, I messaged them on Facebook for a reservation, going out on a limb, but they were booked solid.
