We had lunch on the boat and the food was excellent. We went up top and relaxed with a lazy river ride. Service was very good.

The owners have taken up space directly in the dining room, as their office. Six foot banquet tables with computers, paperwork, boxes stored under the tables, their computers on and sound up, making for an unpleasant site in the dining area.

We took a 2 hour river cruise with lunch from the restaurant but did not use the restaurant itself. I had a beef dish which was pretty good, but at least 3 servings worth of beef. The 4 slabs were layered on top of the veggie mix ( green beans, broccoli, yellow carrots) and had to be moved to season the veggies. Everything needed salt and pepper badly. On the boat, they also serve house wine for $5 per glass. The boat trip was pleasant, mostly a long a rural section of the Rock River and lasted 2 hours. Good, but once is fine.

Went for Friday night fish fry and was very disappointed. The clam strips were dry, the shrimp on the green tomatoes still had the poop track in them, the deep fried fish was so greasy, the lemon pepper cod had too much seasoning that u can only eat the underside. I could go on about the food but I won't. After bringing this to the attention on the owner when she came we explained it to her. She then picked up the fried fish with her hands tore it and ate it in front of us! How UNPROFESSIONAL!! She told us she saw nothing wrong with it. We kindly suggested to charge us for our salad bar. When she returned she showed us 2 bills. The total one for over $42, and one for the salad bar $30. NO WAY THE SALAD BAR IS $15/ea. So they charge only $5 for the fish!!???? STAY AWAY!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

The panini station is awesome.
The bathroom is clean. Except harder to wash hands one at a time. Considering sink water doesn't stay on without constant pushing.

We went there last Saturday for a belated father's day dinner. 2 of us drove from Rockford. My dad, his girlfriend and another friend drove from Prophetstown. It's where he wanted to eat for his special day. We arrived at 3pm (06-21-25) only to be told by the woman staff member that they were closing for an hour and would re open at 4pm. She said the chef was too hot and needed a break from the heat.
Not a good business model to close the reastraunt at any given time because of the temperature. Website said open form 11-8. Sign on building said open from 11-8.
My 83 year old father was disappointed on his father's day.
Wasn't busy there at all only 2 tables.
My i suggest a fan or some cold water for the chef so they don't turn away customers wanting to spend their hard earned money there.
View looked nice. Wish we could have enjoyed it.
Father's Day special. Grill out on their dock. Brats burgers hot dogs potato đ„ salad Cole slaw tea. Snack and pop could be purchased after to ride on the river boat đą after.

Went on the 2 hour boat cruise and then went to eat inside. Had the soup and salad with a large sandwich with a large selection of toppings! Was pretty much completely full from soup and the salad so got to take the large sandwich home!

We have had some great lunches here. Beautiful view and meals. Fantastic friendly owners and serving staff.
The fish fry âbuffetâ was a fish-less buffet. The shrimp/rice stirfry tasted burnt. The loaded potato wedges tasted like salt and flour. The seafood pasta was floury and had little or no seafood in it. The fried fish platter(that we didnât order) eventually came from the kitchen after we were done eating our sides from the fishless buffet was WAY OVERcooked, hard, dark hockey pucks. Next appeared the baked(microwaved?) cod that we DID order was three little pieces for two people. Each time you wanted more fish, you had to wait another good 15 minutes for two more little pieces, one of which was cold. I saw and heard the cook snapping and yelling at our sweet waitress when she took it back. They werenât at all busy, but after weâd been there for quite a while, a busboy brought us (and everyone there)obviously MICROWAVED rolls and said, hereâs some more rolls for you⊠We hadnât had any yet. I gathered that the rolls were a filler because then the waitress apologized for how slow the food was and how backed up the kitchen was. What?! Bizarre and disappointing experience.

I had the triple decker turkey club. It was very good and it had to be the biggest club sandwich I have ever had.
