We had a group of six and we all loved it. It's a great way to just relax and enjoy yourself. The food was tasty and the owners were a joy to be around. $5 a beer was a little high, but other than that we have no complaints. Great for kids and adults. Thanks for having us and we'll definitely be back.

Maxson Restaurant really came through for me this Mother’s Day, and they didn’t even realize how big of a deal it was. My parents recently moved to Rockford, and taking my dad, who has dementia, out to eat can be a challenge. So, I messaged them on Facebook for a reservation, going out on a limb, but they were booked solid. Even though it was booked, they offered to pack up some of their buffet for us to pick up (which I have never had anyone offer before). It was such a relief...

Just had our daughters wedding there on the boat than reception in the restaurant. Food was amazing, staff was so friendly and easy to work with and very affordable. We will definitely be having all our events with them.
