We visited for lunch and ended up waiting about an hour for our food. While the waiter was polite, we weren’t informed about the long wait time. The food itself was decent, but I wouldn’t say it was worth the hour-long wait. The atmosphere was pleasant, especially with a nice view of the water, if that’s something you enjoy.

After visiting the nearby rock river dam, we wanted to find a place to cool off and rest before going back out into the heat.
We found this place after a quick search and picked it just because it was the closest spot to us to get out of the muggy weather.
We were delighted to see a familiar bartender who had helped us as a different establishment in Polo. Plus, they had the same menu as the polo restaurant/bar, so we knew the food was going to be good.
We ordered drinks and the fried cheese curds. Everything was good from the drinks and food to the service. We enjoyed our drinks and snacks while we watched the river flow by outside of the window behind the bar. We even spied a deer walking along the edge of the brush.

Decent burger woman behind bar dissappeared and attitude with zero service. 2nd time there carryout and was charged carryout "charge". No mention of carryout charge on website or menu. 8 dollar cheeseburger was 14 bucks.X on door for this joint.

Very nice place in a wonderful location!! Right on the river in Oregon with amazing views, cozy, up north atmosphere, you'd think you are in Hayward or Minocqua! Plus it's on a snowmobile route, adding even more to the up north feel in the winter. Amazing taxidermy animal displays that you'll want to take some pictures of as well! Now the food, amazing!! Burgers are awesome, really fill you up for a VERY reasonable price, even in January 2024!! I had the double cheese burger, the wife had the trashy burger (with coleslaw), and the kids had the single cheese burgers, and we all really enjoyed them. Cheese curds and cheese fries I would recommend too!! Great food, atmosphere, and listening to a live band here on a Saturday, Beaver Creek Band, what could be better! Thanks, and we will definitely be back!!
Parking: Very good parking in front and side of building and on the street.

So it's a beautiful place, but the bartenders and service is terrible. Went out with friends, and the bartenders who were working, never even ask, what would you like, etc. Just ignored us. So when we finally had to say something, she just rolled her eyes and walked away. 🤦♀️ if you're going to work in the public, you should at least smile and be friendly....just saying. I get bars get busy, but the girl only paid attention to the men there. Hm funny 🤦♀️ definitely a nice place but whoever does the hiring, should reconsider who they want servicing the public. Hence, why I'm leaving the review. 👎
