They denied my 2 good friends who are 23 years old because the secretary of state on their VALID ID’s said Jesse White, who didn’t leave office until 2023. They said he left YEAAAARS ago, implying the ID’s are fake. Their ID’s will not expire until 2026. It’s 2024. He left 2023. Do they not understand math or have any idea how local agencies work? So not one single customer or employee has Jesse White on their driver’s license……. sureeeeeee……Mine had Alexi G on their who is the most recent Secretary of State and they accepted me, but when I asked this new and I thought nicer bouncer KINDLY why they didn’t let my other friends in from his pov, him and the obviously probably sloshed and drunk bouncer who came back proceeded to analyze my ID, rescan it 5 times, and they quizzed me on where I grew up. I grew up 15 minutes away. I’m 22 years old.
I told him my friends are born 2001 and have been over 21 for two years. He said “so you admitted they aren’t 21?”. WHAT??? Both bouncers must have been completely drunk to not have the skills to grasp common sense. Neither could give me a reason why they now denied my valid ID even though I wasn’t being rude when I asked them about my friends either. I don’t know if they thought I was threatening their credentials of being a small gas station dive bar bouncer or what. Imagine two probably drunk men and a 22 years old girl trying to come to an understanding while they are being condescending and incapable of productive conversation and problem resolution. They made up some BS reason and wanted to find a reason not to let me in with my ID too which is why they quizzed me. This isn’t some hotshot exclusive club in the city, it’s a gas station bar in Orland Hills…………….
Got hung up on multiple times by also probably drunk workers on the phone saying things like “you need a valid Id”, “do you not know who the secretary of state is”, etc.
This place is right by Andrew HS. A place in the community we all grew up around. They don’t care about the community and the people in it. I wish they broke every single of our ID’s so I could have called the cops. You know they didn’t break or confiscate them because everyone obviously knew they are real and the secretary of state had ZERO TO DO WITH IT.
God forbid we come to celebrate a birthday and being cancer free, and want to sing some karaoke somewhere local. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Avoid this place at all costs. Rudest and most vile workers.

I came here multiple times with my buddy and I moved a walking distance to this place, and a bartender (a guy) who has been working here didn’t allow myself or my brothers due to the fact that we associate to my sister who married his brother and got divorced.
From a stand point of business, I drink all the time and as a walking distance establishment that I’d hope to spend an hour or two. They’re easily losing 800 week which include our tips all due to a divorce we had nothing to do with.
Leave your personal business behind when it comes to revenue… I‘ll be asking the owner if this is ok because I never had this happen to me. I won’t say anything more as I find the bar a nice place to attend but the employees they employ such as Jeremy Ledger who take things out on people that had nothing to do with the divorce of his brother and my sister. I knew he bartended here and not once did I engage in conversation due to the fact of respect I have towards people in general!

Anne is the best bartender by far! Sunshine was also great! Great bar food, (especially the hot dogs!!), great atmosphere, great prices, hands down the best bar in the area!! Will be back!
I LOVE dan D jacs hance the 5 Star rating. However- Lucy the bartender is downright disrespectful. 2:30 on a saturday night and refused service to everyone but specific people. I heard people complain to the left of me- I respectfully let her know saying that people were frustrated. She YELLS back (reffering to the people to the right of me) saying “THEY KNOW THE OWNER THEY KNOW THE OWNER” refused to let me get a WORD in while those people weren’t even the ones I was talking about. If she got fired that place would be so much better i swear!!! all other bartenders are so amazing i swear!! shoutout to sue for being the best!!!

Haya is absolutely amazing! My sister went and got her hair done and well the picture speaks for itself. She really connects with her clients and make sure everything is the way you want it! She make sure you leave the salon feeling FABULOUS! She uses amazing products and not to mention but her salon is gorgeous!! 10/10 recommend!

Grate little place. When I'm out of town on business I don't like going to the popular bar's. Great people. Jennifer was the best. Will come back when I'm in Chicago. Jack, embrace the "Dive Bar" persona. I specifically look for great little bars. You have a gem.
