Disappointing Experience at Albahaar Sea Food & Grill I drove about an hour, a half each way after reading so many great reviews, and while the place itself is very nice and clean, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. The restaurant is spotless with a pleasant atmosphere and comfortable seating. The décor is a bit much with large TV screens, but overall it looks impressive. The bathrooms were generally clean and even had a nice fragrance, though the soap dispenser wasn’t working and the bathroom floor and toilet seats could’ve used a quick wipe. I ordered the Seafood Tower (fried) — the calamari and scallops didn’t seem very fresh, though the tahini was tasty and the service staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a nice, clean spot with Bassel providing a great service, but the food fell a bit short of what I was expecting after such a long drive, not worth the $$$ spent!

I ordered the grilled salmon and shrimp platter, and it was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was spot on, and the portions were generous. The menu looked so amazing that we couldn’t decide what to try, so we asked our server, Thary, for recommendations and he truly delivered. Everything was chef’s kiss.
