Excellent Tex-Mex especially for a “chain” restaurant! The way the food is prepared reminds me of my favorite family Mexican restaurant growing up. You can tell the ingredients are very high quality. Fun vibe and decor with good service. It also smells really good inside the dining area and that was helped by multiple parties ordering sizzling fajitas. Maybe the best wet steak burrito I’ve ever had
Don’t waste your time. You have McDonald’s cooks cooking Mexican food. Meat has no flavor and dry. Just not a good experience. I never went to a restaurant and didn’t take leftovers it was because I didn’t eat the food. Sorry fellas you all failed the test. My wife was disappointed in be for choosing this restaurant. This made me look real bad. I’ve been a chef for over 40 years and when I say this food is bad is bad. Never again will I step foot in this place.
If a places chips and salsa arnt good usually neither is the food. This is the issue here. The salsa is like a watery ranch not the typical chucky salsa. The Taco Salad was good. The Burrito lacked flavor and the tortilla was just not good
I decided to try them per me having a large break in my schedule and it was the best decision. I got to sit outside. The weather was beautiful. The service was amazing and my the food omg the food was amazing. Got the 3 enchiladas and a crunchy taco with a margarita. Thoroughly enjoyed everything.
Best Tex-Mex food around. I highly recommend their “Boom Boom” sauce.
Chuy’s was highly recommended to me and I was really hoping for a better experience but the waitress we had was AWFUL.1) she was mad and abrupt when we ordered drinks2) she snagged the menus away after ordering almost knocking down sets of silverware, which she didn’t even acknowledge or turn around to correct3) she only checked to ask about the meal when we were almost done (only these three interactions happened the entire meal)4) she was jumping around to other tables often and chatting, refilling chips, etc.5) I made eye contact with her as she was looking my way and gossiping about something (us maybe?) with her coworkerI had the feeling we should have just left and canceled the order as soon as she ripped away the menus. The whole time we felt awkward and stressed about the experience. We ended up speaking to a manager who was nice and understanding. Even so, the experience was ruined and I never plan to be back. The food was okay, not necessarily authentic, but good for the price.I will not be recommending this place and would rather pay for meals at places that offer consistent, good service.
Good food and drinks ! The staff was efficient and friendly.
Been here twice and both times got the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo. There is a tone of food here! A meal fit for "The King". This can easily be split between two adults.Seasoned ground beef enchilada with Tex-Mex Sauce, chicken enchilada with Tomatillo Sauce, cheese enchilada with Ranchero Sauce, crispy taco & homemade tostada chips dipped in queso..Top that bag baby of with Chuy's signature dessert "Tres Leches" and you won't be sorry! Then, wash it all down with a Tito's frozen lemonade and call it a night!Restaurant has a great atmosphere, clean and well kept, friendly staff, and even when busy...the wait isn't too bad.Keep in mind it's "Tex-Mex" and not a 100% authentic Mexican restaurant. Still good, still tastey, just pointing that out.
UpdatingYou’ll see how much I enjoyed chuys in the past if you choose to read below. But this place has fallen far. The restaurant seems less clean each time I’ve gone in. The food lost its quality and the staff turn around is non stop. I’m not sure what happened but it sucks to lose another favorite restaurant.I will sing their praises. My meal was spot on and I enjoyed the the restaurant. They did make a mistake with my wife's meal but they replaced it and had a fresh meal out in no time. The manager checked in on us and showed care for the customer. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We had our two little babies with us and they had plenty of room. We have food allergies and they helped get us through our obstacles. We will be back. Some side notes to consider, this is an open floor restaurant and is not a quiet environment. So if you are looking to relax in peace you may want to spend your time else where or take it to go. Also they do card ID if you are looking to drink so you may want to make sure you have your ID with you.I had the chuchanga with steak with the green sauce. (They are allergy friendly but you will need to talk to them and explain your allergies.)
Awesome food and service!!!

I went here about a year ago for the first time after a few other restaurants were really busy and the wait here was a little shorter. Since then I have probably been back 10+ times. Me and my girlfriend love the fajita chicken tacos and rice. The queso is a really good appetizer choice and you get complimentary chips and salsa. The tortillas are always fresh and the salsa and sauces are made fresh everyday as well. Our one complaint is the mixed drinks seem a little weak every time we go. We will continue to go back because the food is always great and the service is too most of the time.
It is average over priced American Mexican food. I am not from the area, my grandma took my mom and me here. They give you a lot of chips....like a TON. Our waiter was constantly refilling our chips. When you get your chips they come with a spicy salsa and a creamy jalapeno sauce. No regular salsa...even though on their menu they have a non spicy salsa. So we ended up getting queso. The menu is one page which has its pros and cons...not a lot of options but at least you know the food you get will be fresher. Also just so you know you cant get cilantro added into your food. If you order something that doesn't come with cilantro or if you modify something they can no longer put cilantro in it. I tried. I got the quesadillas appetizer, my mom of the Comida Deluxe, my Grandma got the Shrimp Tacos and my granddad just got regular tacos. We also got two bar drinks. Our total was 105$ without tip. I have never spent 105$ at an American Mexican restaurant for 4 people before coming here. So unless you want to see a grandma make tortillas this place is just average.
The boom boom chicken was great, the salsa and chips they start you out with is good and the quesadilla appetizer is big enough for a meal. The waitress was very nice.
Came to try this place after reading the review. However we are very disappointed with the food.Ordered some tacos and the chicken were so dry, it was like eating chicken jerky. Flavours weren’t good either. Please stay away from it.
They are very family friendly and are able to seat 6 easily. We all enjoyed the customer service and quality of the food. I was personally surprised to find they make the tortillas by hand. We loved our experience and don’t forget to get a tasty margarita!
