Came here for national free pancake day, expecting that I would get a small amount at best. I was surprised when I got three fair sized pancakes. The server was friendly, and all they asked for was an optional donation to charity, which I gladly gave. The rest of my party seemed to enjoy their meals as well.
The food was good, the servers were very friendly but so slow. It was about little past 8am when we arrived , not a lotta customers. It seems the employees were having a nice time in the back because there was a lot of loud yelling and laughing. Perhaps that is why service was so slow because too many in the back and not enough in the customer area. I am all for employees not getting bored, but when you are in a service oriented environment, u gotta get your priorities right.
Staff is pleasant and food is cooked well. The wait times are especially long on the weekends and holidays. It appears that the staff isn't increased on these days, thus once you get your food you may not be checked on again.
