JOE at the service desk tried refusing to give me the refund, because the sale had ended the following day I bought them. Total bs. OWNER…you are aware of this issue, just won’t do anything about it.

I have to share how extremely rude the employee by the name of Sherol was. Never have I had such attitude given to me. I was so kind and polite to her. I asked her to remove an item for me the way scolded me was disgusting. Told her Thankyou at the end and she said nothing back didn’t even say have a good day as I left. Maybe that’s not the right job for her with those actions of hers.

The use of the digital coupons are confusing to the consumer. I had a terrible shopping experience and was unable to benefit from these digital coupons as I had to pre shop in order to benefit from the coupons. This is confusing and making the shopping experience frustrating. This happened to me several times. I have therefore decided not to shop at jewel anymore unless I absolutely have too. The purpose of the sale is to make it easily abate the shopper not to make it complicated and unable to benefit from it.

We placed a pick up order online and made not 1, not 2, but 3 trips to the store to pick up all the items they continued to forget to bring to the car. When speaking with the manager he offered to refund the missing items or we could drive back to pick them up…yet again. When I asked what kind of compensation they offered for the inconvenience of needing to make 3 trips and several phone calls to get the ordered items, he offered me a case of water…a cheap, probably $3 case of water as compensation, along with a side of attitude. That manager on duty on 7/3/2024 at 5:30pm needs to learn how to speak to customers.

Watch your receipts!!! None of the clipped coupon prices came up at self checkout so I had to go to the employee and she said she usually gets it to come up on hers. Fine, no biggie. Then, my parents who are elderly went thru a full service line and same thing happened to them. The employee told them they had to prove they clipped coupons on their phone. My parents have flip phones and clip coupons at home on a laptop. They wouldn't budge and said to bring a printout from home of their clipped coupons. So I brought their items to the special employee only computer at the front and once again the clipped coupon price came up for her...sounds like this store is scamming their customers and registers are not reading sale prices...just a warning to watch your receipts or even better shop at a different jewel!
Cheap chicken Monday is a joke here! I requested to have all dark meat and they said you have to buy that separately. You have to get all the pieces of chicken to get cheap chicken Monday and I walked out so angry. I will not be supporting any Jewel-Osco with my hard earned money anytime soon

Jewel has always been our family’s grocery store since they have opened. They shall continue to be my fav mainly because I don’t want to ring up and bring my own bags so I can bag my own groceries! I know Aldi which is now across the street may have cheaper items but I guess I’m willing to pay extra for a lil bit of service! I’ve always been happy with Jewel’s employees, service, product selection. Only downside are the prices are rising bit more than I like or expect. I know everything has gone up since pandemic but …

An average Jewel. Friendly folks, decent produce and meat. Clean, organized. could use more asian items .4/27/22 their usual plant stand is up and running. 8/30/22- 2030 and all is well. Good time to go shopping in the summer. Cool temps and few people! 11/20/23- Jewel is packed in anticipation of Turkey Day. First year in competition with a new Aldi across the street. Doesn't seem to effect the folks in Jewel!

i went to this jewel to run in and out just to grab gatorade for my sick husband because this is the closest store to me less than 5 min away, i got there at 11:50, says they close at 12, all the doors are locked and their employees are just standing around in the front, i can see them and i know they can see me trying to get in. don’t bother to unlock the door or let me in the store for the one item i’d need that i’d be in and out of the store for in less than 5 min, no they just decide to close early and stand around and do nothing even though they’re supposed to be open. it’s not like i’m coming at 11:59. i’m sorry but open till 12 means doors are open till 11:59-12, and all customers are out by 12. As someone who’s worked retail i get wanting to leave, but if we had a customer come in 10 min before we closed it’s all good as long as your out by close, i know on their schedules it says they’re working till at least 12:15, store closes at 12 and 15min to finalize closing everything. Luckily shell was still open but most gas stations around here are closed by 10 or 11pm now.
